A NSD today so that's me up to 9 for this month. Nothing else much to report from today, worked a short shift for 2nd job this morning so should get about £30ish next Friday, am hoping to pick up something else over the weekend but will see what happens.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I need to phone the credit union to release my christmas funds either at the end of this week or start of next. I'm away in Glasgow next weekend so plan to get some christmas shopping done then. I have an idea of most of what I'm going to buy now, just need to try and stick to my budget.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks monz, really looking forward to it. Need to try and get some money together for it though.
A spendy day today - £6.07 on toiletries, £2 on some cakes to take round to a friends and £5.50 on tv licence. Had a lovely evening with some friends, one of the girls cooked tea round at hers. We've arranged a christmas lunch out so will need to mind to put some money aside for that.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Didn't get round to posting yesterday, spent the evening lying on the sofa reading a book, was bliss
I popped in the shop on the way home from work yesterday to get a couple of things to go with tea, obviously hit it at the right time as I also got 6 packs of gf rolls for 29p each :T £5.67 spent overall.
Payday today and I got £39.52
- £30 food
- £5 to DDs account
- £4.52 loan
I managed to pick up a wee shift for tomorrow morning so that will boost my pay from 2nd job up next week. Loving my new job but just feeling ever so slightly stressed about money as I don't have much time to pick up extra shifts with 2nd job/the shifts they have available don't fit it with what I can do. However, I should know by now no point in worrying about it, it always works itself out
I've phoned the credit union this morning so £200 for christmas presents should clear in my account by tonight. I'm seeing my brother and SIL in Glasgow next weekend so want to try and get their presents organised to take with me. It's also my dad's birthday at the end of the month so will use some of the money to get him a wee present.
I've got a day off work today :j so plan is to go to the gym, clean the flat, do some more clearing out and meet my gran later. Oh and I really need to make more christmas cards, Hope everyone else is having a good Friday.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Today ended up being a NSD
I was planning to do some christmas shopping after meeting my gran but it started snowing so decided just to go back to the flat instead.

Missed posting yesterday as I was really busy with work but it was a NSD
Today has been quite a spendy day - £28.99 in the supermarket and £34.97 on christmas presents. £23.90 of the christmas presents was covered by @mazon vouchers - definitely makes all the boring surveys throughout the year seem worthwhile now

A spendy day again today - £31.44 on a birthday present and part of a christmas present for my dad. I'm hoping to drop the birthday present in at my gran's as my dad will be up visiting her at the weekend, saves me a bit of postage
Getting there slowly with my christmas shopping, hoping to get most of the rest in Glasgow at the weekend.
On the way home from work I realised that my trainers must have a hole in them as I ended up with soaking feet. I had a look on sports d!rect and have ordered a proper pair of walking boots and three pairs of canvas shoes for the bargain price of £26.89 :T I decided that if I got proper walking boots for walking to and from work I could then change into the canvas shoes for work. They're mostly paid for out of the 'me' fund which I was planning to use for a haircut and makeup but proper footwear is more important.
I also spent £2.75 on a couple of bits that I forgot to get yesterday (as I forgot to take my list with me to the supermarket). Going to have a quick catchup on the diaries and then head for an early night. Had a really busy day at work and my to do list at work seems to be getting longer so imagine tomorrow will be the same.
