Hi Trixxibell, thank you. Glad my waffling has inspired you :) Good luck with your debt busting!

Nothing much to report from the last two days - both have been NSDs :T
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.7.25 - £106,653.66
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £33.53/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £612.99
  • Hi MissT

Hope the nightshift went ok, I don't know how you do it. I would be ruined for the rest of the week :o.

I had a look at your Signature. You are doing soooo well.
I have been doing the % of debt paid off thing too, and I split my debt into 10k for last year and 10k for this year. but it is too depressing to start at 0% again so I have changed mine now, so it says I have paid of 50%. Each percentage is going to be a higher amount now, but it is nice to see my achievement from last year rather than starting again and feeling like I haven't gotten anywhere.

    Hope that gabbling made sense.

Keep going hun, you are doing so well xxx

A NSD to report today :) Tomorrow won't be as I need to book tickets for going away to see OH's friend and buy my friend a birthday present.

I'm still trying to keep on top of doing surveys and today I redeemed a £10 Am*zon voucher from Valued Opinions. Really need to keep at it as that's £45 so far this year :D

I really can't get on with survey sites, I keep getting locked out of them, I have £2 in onepoll cash back, and £2.30 in one poll, and then just little tiddy points in swagbucks and toluna. I don't think I'm dedicated enough!!

I got through stages of doing as many as I can and then sometimes months of hardly bothering, however, I'm going to try and keep it up this year. They are very boring though and it is so annoying when you get part way through and then you don't meet the criteria. I find onepoll and swagbucks takes forever, prefer valued opinions, my survey and globaltestmarket.

Today has been quite a spendy day - £30 on tickets to see OH's friend ( at myself, when I checked last week they were half that price), £30 on a present for a friend, £2.58 on painkillers and reduced price bakery goods and £3.80 on bus fare (on a split shift today). I have made a card for my friend but must remember to buy stamps to send it tomorrow.

I went to the gym earlier. Don't think I said but I have signed up to do a 5k at the end of April to motivate me to keep going to the gym so thought I would see how far I could manage to run today. I managed 3k :) which I'm very pleased with as I haven't run for ages, however, my legs now feel like jelly which isn't good as I still have a 5 hour shift to do later.

Start again at 5 so suppose I better get some food and get myself organised. Hope everyone is having a good Sunday.

  • Hi MissT

Well done on running 3k on your first try :j. With just abit more gym'ing you will get the 5k done easy.

Hope your legs hold out during your nightshift :o.
