There's a couple of tins in the cupboard so this will definitely be a meal at least once. I'm still working on the meal plan but hope to get it finished today.
The rent and christmas savings have gone out of my account today and I spent £2 on a light bulb. We didn't actually need anything else so saved my money for another day.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Not the most exciting menu in the world but it will do. OH is going to make a big pot of soup tomorrow which will do our lunches through the week or there's plenty of cheese and crackers.
Having done the menu, I realised that there was a few things we needed so £4.10 spent. Hopefully we won't need anything else for the next few days so I can get some NSDs in.
I went to the gym after work today so am doing well on that target so far.
The £5 reward was added to my bank account today, usually I would pay it to cc1 but will keep it just now in case I need it.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Only spend for today was bus fare home from work so I will count that as a NSDMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Another NSD today
however tomorrow won't be as we are about to run out of bread and milk. Got a day off tomorrow so will have time to catch up with everyone else's diaries then.

£2.74 spent on bread, milk and bin bags. The Lovefilm direct debit has gone out. I have been to the gym and the flat is spotlessly clean. I just need to do the ironing and that's all my jobs done.
I got my payslip through so will get £68.34 tomorrow. I will put it all towards bills as I have enough in my purse to do until I get paid again on Friday. I really need to get a wee emergency fund up and running so I'm not in this position again.
I have been thinking about various things that I need to do this month so I've decided at the start of each month I will make a wee to do list in addition to setting my mini targets.
So my January to do list
- start an emergency fund
- put aside at least £100 for electricity bill
- find out when cc2 0% deal is up
- buy birthday presents for my mum and friend
- get a haircutMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

A very quick post before I go off to bed - today has been another NSD (only spend was bus fare home from work) and I went to the gym this morning. Doing well on both targets at the moment
I got my payslip through so will get £117.34 on Friday. My brain is too tired to work out what needs to go to bills at the moment so will do that tomorrow. Night everyone.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I worked out that I would have £11.86 left after bills and I spent £7.09 today so it's going to be a very tight week
The meal plan is working really well and I haven't had to buy any more food to supplement it - the spends today were for things that I hadn't really thought of such as running out of teabags, margarine, toothpaste etc.
We have a jar full of coppers which might have to cashed in at some point. But will see how it goes. I won't need bus fare at all for the next week as the late shifts that I'm working are fairly close to home. Hopefully I will be able to get away with just buying milk and bread, however, there is only 1 washing tab left and I'm almost out of shampoo so... oh well I think there should be £5 plus in the copper jar so if needs must.
I'm going to try to make the shampoo last until I get paid next Friday so I can buy some decent stuff as the last few ones I have bought from P*undland and my hair always seems to have huge tangles in it after I wash it even if I use conditioner. It also seems particularly frizzy at the moment.
My earphones have stopped working in one ear so I will need to look around for a cheap pair to replace them - as I walk pretty much everywhere, my ipod is a must
So a few things to add to my January to do list
- buy decent shampoo/conditioner
- buy headphones
- buy new serum (£5 off No7 voucher expires at start of Feb)
- also need to look out thank you notes, get them written and sent away (hopefully will have enough stamps in my purse to get them sent this week).
I've done all the survey invitations in my email account and am going to try and keep this up as I got a bit lax last year. They are super boring to do but it does eventually add up especially if I save them up for Christmas. I'm almost at the payout threshold for Global Test Market so hopefully will manage to get there at some point over the next week.
Right I'm on a double shift tomorrow so I better go and get everything organised so I don't have to do it in the morning. Hope everyone has had a good day.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Misstara... The ozzy rip off shampoo from savers called juice is really good, I think it's 99p each for shampoo and conditioner. Just recently though I bought big bottles of v05 with the pump tops, again from savers (my favourite shop!!) For £2.49 each. It lasts ages. Or if you're feeling really indulgent, eBay has tigi shampoo by the litre!!0

Had to get some milk and bread today so £1.80 spent. I'll go and cash in the coppers tomorrow just in case I need it later on in the week. If not I can use it to make an overpayment to cc1.
I finally got to the payout threshold for Global Test Market so went for Amazon vouchers (£30) and also got a £5 Amazon voucher from My Survey so will put that towards Christmas. Definitely going to try to keep up doing surveys.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
