    Thanks ani and monz :D

The move went well, still got a lot to sort out and unpack here but at least we're in :) The man and van cost £160 and so worth it to get everything moved today. I also spent £20 on a takeaway for tea.

Good thanks monz, I've just been taking a wee break from mse/being online in general.

    So since I last posted

I went down the road on Thursday to spend some time with my family before Christmas, bought a couple of coffees on the way down and a sandwich. Before I left I thought that the fridge wasn't working properly so asked OH to check for me. He then phoned on Thursday night so say it definitely wasn't working so I ordered a new one online £169.99.

Friday was a NSD, my parents were at work so I spent some time with my sister and brother doing christmassy stuff - making mulled wine, putting up the tree, baking, etc. In the evening, I met a friend for a drink, however, she treated me.

Saturday was a NSD. I went for a run, first one I've been for a while. Sunday was also a NSD, went for a big walk.

I travelled back up yesterday so more spends on coffee. Was hoping to come back to find that OH had unpacked and sorted everything :rotfl: but no such luck. Spent £5.28 on food, will need to go a proper shop at some point.

Back to work today and popping round to a friend's house for tea later.

I know :( but it was a super cheap second hand one, never mind.

Spendy day again - £9 on a gift for my gran which I will take round tomorrow, £2.45 on margarine and milk and £2.30 on bus fare home tonight.

Living at the new flat either means a longish walk to work every day, getting the bus regularly or getting a car. After waiting at the bus stop for 20 mins tonight in the cold and rain, I'm very much for getting a car, however, realistically we can't afford it at the moment so will need to either walk to work or get a monthly bus pass.

Popped round to my grans after work with her presents and she gave us some money towards the new flat which was lovely of her :D. I then came home and discovered a payslip from 2nd job, thinking that's a bit odd as I didn't work for them last week but it turned out to be back pay I was owed. Only £17.41 but still :D

I still haven't been a proper food shop since getting back and have just been buying each evening after work so £6.80 spent yesterday on food. Really struggling to find the time but will go tomorrow after work or Saturday. Other spends for yesterday were £4 on a day ticket and £5 on a box of biscuits for work.

We finally put up our wee tree last night so the flat is looking nice and christmassy. Only today and tomorrow to go at work and then I'm off for a few days.

I get paid tomorrow from usual job so currently working on a budget. Didn't do any overtime last month so don't have as much as usual :(

    Thanks ani :D

Yesterday was a spendy day, spent £98.03 in the supermarket however this was not just on food. We also got a few bits and bobs for the flat like new bedding, some baking trays and bathroom things. Then went to the Christmas market with friends and spent £7 on mulled cider which was yummy. Last night, we made mince pies and sausage rolls plus iced the cake.

Today will be very relaxed, just the two of us and OH is doing the cooking :D
