Forgive me this is my first post!. Got to Fareham store about 7.45 and there was a small group of people. Opened at 8 and there was a rush upstairs but I managed to get the handful of bits I wanted for my little girl (no mean feat at 6 months pregnant!). Felt like a fraud as other people were going mad with their huge Ikea bags.
I've been trying to add this to my basket since yesterday morning so if any kind soul comes across it would you get it for me. I would of course pay for item and postage

Thank you so very much
I don't have any, but what about this similar Argos item?

If it was the specific animals you wanted, you will be disappointed, but it's only £7ish more expensive and you won't have to pat P&P. And it's pink to make the boys wink!

Just back from Leicester and it was horrible!...pushing, shoving, grabing and the aisles were very small making things worse!
I am truly amazed at the amount of things people were taking....there were ladies (though they don't warrant the term ladies) that were filling baskets and running back to give the contents to their husbands who stood waiting at the sides before going back again and again and again! They can't possibly have that many relatives to buy presents for-they all literally had well over a hundred items each :eek::eek: They are obviously selling these things.
I'm sorry to say that a lot of the people at Leicester showed no manners what so ever and today I feel upset for the few, like me, that will be tarred with the same brush.
I'm sorry if i'm being a bit of a bar-humbug...but this spoils thing for everyone else!....not sure if I would do this again:(
Snap, i got there about 9.45 and 2 women were arguing because she saw her take something out of her hoard, seriously, the hoard consisted of 2 shopping trolleys bags and baskets. Felt very uncomfortable so left.always on the lookout for a bargin always better when its free!!:T0 -
After blitzing the online site at 5am, I headed to the first of two retail parks. Managed to get some good bits, mostly Royal Jelly items which is lucky since my older relatives like those! When I got to the till I asked if there was anything behind them that perhaps people had not wanted! It worked managed to get to Soap & Glory Girl-O-Whirl Makeup Set's and a Starbucks Hot Chocolate Set!
Then I headed to the other retail park, where there was very little left, but a few Laura Ashley GS, so got two of them and a couple of pairs of gloves.
Plenty of socks, slippers and slipper boots in both Boots store. Very little if any men's things!
I am pleased with what I have bought, overall saved around £300!
Now I am off for 40 winks, bloody shattered! ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzSarahsarah wrote: »But this is a public website, not a private club.

I went to Chapelfield (Norwich) before work, got there about 8.20am and it was pretty manic but I managed to get;
S&G FaceTime Set x2
S&G Powder Trip x2 (FYI, check them as loads of them had been smashed by "over enthusiastic" people)
S&G Eyes Box x2
S&G Once upon a Lime Set x1
Dove Wonderful You x1
FCUK Set x1
10 in 1 Tool x1
Spend about £50, saved £118 according to my receipt and I used my double points and 350 extra points voucher! I use the S&G stuff all the time so it should last me a while.
For the last few years, I have been going to the 75%/70% off sale before work. This year was the absolute worst I have ever seen it. It was very busy when I arrived and some of the people were just unbelievable. Pushing, shoving, swearing, etc - I have never seen it like that before. There were woman tag teaming and grabbing everything off the shelves. People with double stacked trolleys using them as battling rams or blockades!
I was sworn at by some middle aged woman because I picked up the last S&G set she apparently wanted.
Saying that, there was two ladies who did have loads of stuff but were very polite and chatty and were not grabbing the entire shelf full and another lady offered for me to go in front of her in the queues as I had to get to work.
By the time I got into work I was absolutely exhausted!0 -
Thank you InaPickle but it was the animal one I wanted for her. Can't get anymore pink for her, just in case I'm Team Blue in May. Thank you so much for your help though.0

I was just in the main Oxford store and the shelves were getting cleared very fast (people actually walking around with an entire trolley full of reduced items). I managed to get three wonderful things worth around £50 collectively for £11 :-) they had lots of Ferne Cotton and Gok type stuff left, but not much else. What I managed to get was the last minnie mouse hairdryer set (£6.00), nandos hummous set (£3.00) and a lipgloss/purse set (£2.80).. If it wasnt for this forum I would not have known about this sale so thank you OP/MSE!0

Just found this thread and having a few giggles at some of the posts
I used to take the morning off for the sale but haven't bothered since 2 years ago when some lady tried to take my trolley with my baby daughter still in it,
I wasn't best pleased
Anyway popped in to my local Lyons Farm, Worthing just after 1pm and managed to pick up a Remington Glam Goddess set for my niece, Joules mens set and had to have one of the token Starbucks mugs as there was so many on the shelf
There were loads of those Ted Baker makeup sets (originally £40) and lots of Fearne Cotton make up sets originally £25) also Minnie Mouse hairdryer sets if anybody's interested in them?
Not much left of much else as expected - I had a chat to my friend who works on No 7 counter and she said it was worse this year than any other with people pushing, shoving and generally behaving like animals0 -
