Got to my store at 7.30 and was at the front, my sister was already there so got us both a trolley as there was only about 7 available. Last year I had 3 big bags, I shop for presents for the whole year. I had a few people moaning behind me that I was taking the trolley down the aisles! biting my tongue lol It was no where near as busy last year but this year was heaving, full of rude and ignorant people who thought they had a god given right to judge and push! I certainly weren't leaving my trolley at the end of an aisle for the vultures to root through and take stuff out! anyway I got everything I wanted, spent £143 and saved well over £3000

I picked up the Remington wand and then put it back as I realised I didn't want it. As soon as I put it back, 2 people grabbed for it, and another woman asked what I'd done with it as she obviously saw it was gone from my hand basket. She seemed genuinely annoyed that i'd put it back and she hadn't got it.
I just don't get it!You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like herBig Bang Theory

For all those upset about people selling stuff on ebay. It really is those selling on ebay that are going to be in for a shock! Listing fee, 10% final value fee then a paypal fee and then postage for the item. Are they really making a profit?
Agreed. Postage alone on these bulky items will be ridiculous! I wish someone would explain to me how on earth a profit is made? You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like herBig Bang Theory

No, you don't have the right to insult anybody. Yet, you still have.
'Exploiting people'?! I think you need to re-read previous posts. I don't believe I'm better than anyone else shopping in the Boots sale, and I've never suggested so.
I do, however, believe I'm better than the likes of you.
So don't bother replying to my posts again, as I don't wish to read your ridiculous, poorly written views.
Let's just leave it there, shall we?
If you dont think you are better than anybody in that sale why did you say "I replied that I was a journalist writing a piece on people who'll do anything to save a few quid"
Lets leave it there.:A0 -
Don't feed the trolls

I did not see any s&g, fcuk or ted baker set left by the time I got there. Shame.
Share your opinion about how ridiculous and greedy some people do look . For me I will be more ashamed of myself than annoyed if I was caught clearing the shelf. Saying that if you told me what you told the lady I would have just laugh and agreed with you (the American streak in me x)
Glad is all over X0 -
That was something else that peed me off too!! Minor I know, but I used to be able to work out the price easily by halving and then halving again, it was a nuisance trying to work out what 70% off was!
In the end I did it by working out that the reduced price would be 30p for each pound of the original price! But it's not easy to do on the hop when you're being rammed by trollies left right and centre!!
Couldn't agree with you more!0 -
Hi been away for a while.Got to store at 8.58 with only a few in front of me. Nice a calm people saying excuse me and passing each other bits. Lots of good stuff left and love the fact that we are set up for presents for ages again. Roll on the BOGTF at Lloyds Chemist!!0
