Hmm, not sure how I feel after this year. Was there when the store permed and pretty much got what I'd hoped to buy but people were just grabbing anything they could get their hands on by the look of it. Seemed less stock in store this year too. Wonder whether this was a bit of a push to try and get more people to buy at 50% next year?

Sure some will shoot me down in flames on this, but I think it wouldn't be a bad idea for a max purchase value per person, even £100 each which is a pretty big whack still.

  • Regarding the poor lady who fell and was simply walked over, This is terrible behaviour! What is wrong with people? I could never behave in such a way, we would definitely have stopped to help, some things are more important than a bargain. A sad reflection of the times. I was almost knocked over by a woman with one of those old lady shopping trolley things running through the store when they opened the doors, such was her need to get past me! Running, really, is it really necessary?! I also had a woman pushing me in the back while going down an aisle, as if somehow there was a way to move quicker when you could clearly see it was packed with people! I despair of how people are these days :(

I got this Sanctuary Spa set in a big square tin for £12 this morning. It was originally £40 but I think I saw them selling for £20 before Christmas. It has body wash, body lotion, pedicure foot file, foot butter, foot scrub, facial wash, facial exfoliator, hair band and a body polisher in it. A good bargain! :j

Not sure what all the excitement was about with the Sanctuary Spa set in a big square tin and othe spa sets. These were buy 3 for 1 for about two weeks before Christmas and so worked out at £13.33 each online. Same with the champagne sets. Also same with the coco sets

I do like the build up and went to the Nottingham Giltbook site, but apart from the spa sets, coco and chess boards and paper not much else left.

After getting my bits online this morning I wandered into local store at lunchtime not much there except sanctuary tins piled high... Then noticed some perfume set all reduced - yet not reduced online.

Picked up lady gaga set for £9.60 Paid with points... Was £32

Also got Kate moss set £7.48 was £25
    Beyonc! heat £7.05 was £23.50
    Justin Beiber £6.90 was £23.00

All smell good enough to me for everyday wearing to work.

These still only show 1/2 price online so worth looking out for some were on perfume counter and some in the sale stock.

Oh lucky you! I love the Beckham Pink perfume. I ordered it 2 weeks ago online when it was down to £9.96 :)
Wouldn't have minded the other perfume you got though! I have to pop into town tomorrow after work, but I doubt there would be any left lol. Well done you:T

As for people who keep harping on about it;s not that big of a discount cause of the 3 for 2 offer and all that rubbish. What have you people got against people like myself feeling happy with their bargains at 1/2 price and more??? It may not be good enough for some of you, but for many of us who don't have as much money as others on here, let us be happy with our bargains and let it be would you please?
