Boots sale - now 90% off

I managed to get in to Wandsworth Southside mall before I started work this morning and grabbed a few Gok sets, a Fearne beauty bag, Fearne perfectly polished, Soap and Glory eyes, girl-o-whirl and a lot of Seventeen and Ted Baker bits.
Looking back I should have purchased more than one of a few bits as other people in the shop were clearing the shelves all for themselves. And a rather rude lady was using a buggy (with no child in sight) to not only block the aisle but to put all her items on.


After work I stopped off at the Tooting Boots on the way home and if you were just walking by you wouldn't even be able to tell there was a sale on. They had a tiny little stand at the end of the aisle with whatever was left. I'm not sure if it was full in the morning.. but all they really had was a few gift tags and christmas bits left and a few girl-o-whirl sets. I was tempted to buy another but stopped myself.

Maybe they should start doing what 'Next' do, and just allow so many people in at a time. From reading some of these comments, there's an accident waiting to happen - or a fight, perhaps??!!

I started this thread as was really excited about this year sale, last year i've grabbed a lot of bargains and the sale was really great. But i am disappointed this year the sale is not good, i didnt find anything appealed me.

You seem to have missed the point entirely. I didn't actually take her picture, she just thought I had. So yes, I found her rude. Hardly 'tragic'.


And where did I declare I took pictures of 'mad shoppers fighting for Soap & Glory'?! I actually took pictures to show how much stock there was all over the place and how many people were in the shop, which I'm entitled to do. I was shopping there myself so it's hardly derogatory.


And no matter how you dress it, name-calling on a forum is trolling, in my opinion.

I got loads today including "Intimately Beckham & original Beckham plus Betty Boop & Fern perfume sets .. mini perfume sets for him, Ted Baker sets, FCKU, sanctuary etc etc all under £6.00 each ..hoping they smell good!! avoided the Beyonce "Heat" sets though .. slippers, grow your own herbs, did I do well ? .. got 19 items = £77.66. It was a frenzy but I think I did well!! Has anyone smelt these perfumes?? let me know if they are disgusting... haha ???

After getting my bits online this morning I wandered into local store at lunchtime not much there except sanctuary tins piled high... Then noticed some perfume set all reduced - yet not reduced online.

Picked up lady gaga set for £9.60 Paid with points... Was £32

Also got Kate moss set £7.48 was £25
Beyonc! heat £7.05 was £23.50
Justin Beiber £6.90 was £23.00

All smell good enough to me for everyday wearing to work.

These still only show 1/2 price online so worth looking out for some were on perfume counter and some in the sale stock.

After spending ages waiting for online sale 4am this morning with no luck I popped into my local Durham store on my lunch break got quite a few bits well pleased as I used my health care professional discount card got extra 10% off much to the annoyance of the counter staff who told me they didn't get any discount on sale items, pleased I didn't get online earlier now ! :
