Happy birthday Bookworm
Another Miss here - stayed as Mrs Married Name for a few years after divorce, then ex was remarrying so I didn't want to be stuck with the same name (I wasn't part of "his" family anymore anyway). Didn't want to go back to maiden name partly as I wasn't keen on it & partly as I was a different person, moving onto a different stage of life, so (after consultation with my kids to make sure they were ok with it) I drew up my own deed poll document, and changed surname (to my grandmothers maiden name). At that point I wasn't a Mrs any more, didn't like Ms & so only one option left! I don't mind it although it does feel a bit young at times.
Tired Singlie so dozing in bed already. Have a good day tomorrow all.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -

@ Bookworm....happy birthday! Didn't realise till I read back.
Birthdays are so much more significant IMV to Christmas and all that. It is an acknowledgment that we were born, and are still here! Lovely.
Hope you had a lovely day.0 -

Morning Mrs Bones - :coffee: sounds great. I think I will join you
I have found the last few bdays difficult but this thread and all of you have helped me change my approach this year. :T I decided that I am not going to mope around so I have arranged to meet a friend for lunch. I'm also going try and look on all the positives rather than dwelling on the negatives. It worked for me at NYE so hoping it will do the same again now
Hope your ok, def agree try looking at the positives.
I'm trying to be frugal with everything, but have decided to take on 1 challenge a month (personal to me) and help getting organised.
Jan - Sort out money, - got 1 diary that use just for money, all incomings and outgoings, and then a personal diary so dont have money being pushed into my face (without sounding daft),
Feb - going to start looking after my skin, brought some no 7 skincare with the £5 off vouchers had from Boots -xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
