    Hello Ifatfirst......

Hope today is a bit better JKS....what do men really know anyway....and their Egos wouldn't allow them to think they were wrong of course ever.

Just say 'yes dear' really sarcastically and walk away......lol.

My shifts so far aren't too bad, I feel I can leave my head in tact and no major need to boil it or put it into the freezer so far......only half way through though.

Met one of the guys from No.5 last night when going out to work. Had a bit of a chat and hung out on the front lawn for a while.

We are going to have to keep this a secret though......as Asbo will go nuts if she knew. I don't know what his name is, but he's huge, black and white, really thick fur, and is a serial flopper....you take one step anmd he's flopped again practically on your feet.

Lovely boy, really friendly, and due to his physique and personality I have decided to call him....chunky Monkey.

It may well be Chunky monkey that keeps capping on my front lawn, but now i've met him I can't tell him off as he's SO lush....or it could be the unfriendly grey and white one that looks at you like you are scum.....i'll call that one Scum-Bag.

weather has been poo ever since built hammock....am hoping monday might be nice to swing about in the garden for a while.

Right, off to get ready for vile work.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I've been quite low this week, ventured out for the first time in days, wish I hadn't! First physio, then to my DD's, I arrived earlier than expected

spent almost 2 hours ranting and hoovering ...made no difference and wish I'd just left. She also has a new gf, gawd knows who this woman is (she was there but left as I was ranting...)seriously, the house is a tip plus cigarette butts all over the floor etc, with burns in the duvet cover.

Came home really upset as I was hoping for a nice time with DD and bunns. Wanted to praise DD for her fab weight loss and she's looking really good right now, but seriously, the house is horrendous. I won't go into how bad as I'm too embarrassed. :o:eek:

Just say I wouldn't want to eat or drink there.:o:eek:

I'd taken a load of toys for bunns along with cardboard but only spent about 5 mins cuddling one of them. :(

    Oh dear Byatt..

I guess how she chooses to live is up to her in a way...but I get the ciggy burns being a worry, especially the duvet cover. If you can't stop her smoking in the bedroom make (or get her if she hasn't one) an ash try for her bedside....minimise the risks so to speak.

If the house isn't always or usually a tip I wouldn't worry too much, it may just be a phase for now.

And where does she meet all these new people???!!......she certainly isn't singlie for long.

I have to say though I found myself glad to hear the bunns are ok, at least she is still looking after them...is it that the bunns are taking priority so the house can go stuff it for now??

Try not to stress with it, you can't control what others do.......more's the pity at times.

Off to work, have a good evening folks.

Hi Calico, she doesn't smoke, or at least not often, no this is the new gf. Its the total lack of care about the cigarettes, truly, they were put out on the carpet, ash all down the cushions on the sofa. And she doesn't sleep in the bedroom, but drags the mattress into the living room...it's not a big place, bigger than mine however, so you can imagine she is living (with another woman) in one room.

yes, she cares for the bunns. They seem happy and healthy.

She just doesn't take care of her own welfare. It's not a phase, the house being a tip, but these past few months have been the worst I've ever seen it.

How she meets these people, well, mostly through FB or acquaintences. She declares undying love from the start. Talks about marriage etc...

anyway, have told her support, they will find out more about the gf. None of us wants a repeat of the last situation...but sometimes I fear the worst for her future as she chooses really dodgy characters. :(

I hoped the bunns would be enough for her need to love.

Although it doesn't sound it, I'm not stressing as much as I used to. Just a bit sad that's all.

Definitely, a really good point to start with. Thank you for being so open. I feel the need to get something official in place asap - who have you given copies of your will to? Just your solicitor or do you have a trusted friend or friends for that, too?

There is a central register where you can register your will. My solicitor did this with the last one I made (about 4 or 5 years ago). It cost £25. The will itself is with the solicitor, and another copy at home. If anyone checks the central register they will find the name and address of the solicitor where my will is kept.

    Oh heck Byatt....

To be honest in my opinion someone needs to have a chat with said new g/f...telling her it isn't acceptable to be smoking all over the flat, and to use a ruddy ash tray.....and preferably not you so you aren't in the middle of things and the ' bad cop '.

I often get LD patients at work, and non of them would have a problem using an ash tray, so don't see why she cant.

Can she or does she get assistance with house keeping? Even if for just the times when it gets bad?....i'm not sure how it all works in the community.

    Gotta dash, work calling.
