Right...holy cow I need singlie advise here...!!!???
Man in cupboard (sparky) has txt with details for sumut else....I replied asking when bulb can be done for outside etc......and he's now replying with a kiss on end of txt.....!?!
Lol.
To be fair I think he's just a genuine nice lad, but was in a bit of shock at first, but I didn't put one back in my next reply.
Thoughts?Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
How old is he? :cool:0

I have heard my builder (who is also an Mse er) tell everyone from his tradies to his nest friends 'love you' at the end of a call......just a habit :rotfl: I know his wife ( though Mse) and he loves HER very! very much. :T0 -
Byatt - I didn't go back for more cat food as I have no room to store any more. As it is, the fridge freezer has a large heap on top of it and my old girl is not happy about that as she likes to sit up there. And, to be honest, there were no more mixed selection packs on the shelf anyway!
My two new boys arrived just over a week ago. They are friendly, purry little boys, but it is too early for us to be playing happy families yet. I have had much less hissing than expected, a few growls, but no swiping. Obviously they are confined during the day (in a large bedroom) so the oldies roam freely, but come 5.00 they come belting out - straight to check out the other food bowls!
They had their first birthday on Saturday so had a few Dreamies as a treat! I was told when I was picking them up that they had been in the rescue centre for 9 months, so I'm really glad they will now have room to run (once they are settled). One black and one black and white - but new names needed (particularly for the black one, I have an idea for the b/w one - suggestions welcome).

How old is he?
Not sure, but I would say possibly about max 10 yrs younger than me.
To be honest that isn't even the point in a way as it's just nice to have someone be nice if that makes sense.??
I am SO not interested in any kind of anything...it just does the ego good doesn't it.
He has kept txting...and kiss at bottom of txt...then asked me if I wanted my bell sorting at same time.
I said No, as not bothered if it doesn't work as is quite handy working nights unless he can sort an 'off' switch.
Do you think it's weird?....as in bad weird?Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
I just asked his age because if he was older (like me!), I would suspect he'd be less likely to put a x, but it seems to be the way people end messages now. People on FB do it all the time and have never met (selling site)...I do it more now...but would not do so for a male.
It's difficult to know if it's weird or not as he might do that for all his texts.0 -
RPP, they sound lovely, any pics? They will htink they have landed on their feet after 9 months in the rescue centre. I got my boy from the town beginning with H...Cat's protection.0

Hmmm.
I put an x at the end a lot if I think about it...but with people I know, and I must admit the generation older than me find that odd.
Right have decided you are prob right ,and it's a generation thing . And I am an old fossil and haven't thought this through properly.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
twasn't me who said you were an old fossil...:p now, I am an old fossil...
Why don't you ask him when he calls next?0 -
Calicocat - many people put x at the end of their messages - on autopilot. I don't, but am even more of an old fossil as I've only sent two texts in my life!
Byatt - no pics yet - they don't stay still long enough! Mine came from the National Animal Welfare Trust site at Heaven's Gate Farm (I just love that name) at Langport. Up until the weekend there was an old pic of them, but they've re-vamped the website and it's gone now.
