He sounds pretty indifferent about the relationship to me. You've been unhappy / frustrated / etc for nearly 2 years. Does he care? Seems not. Can someone love another if they don't care about them? Nope don't think so.....

I've learnt the hard way that love isn't grey when it comes to how it makes you feel. It's black and white. If you love someone, you don't let them feel like poo all the time. You've told him how you feel, yet he continues to let you feel this way. Puts no effort in. Doesn't want to take you to bed.

It's pretty obvious to me I'm afraid. Find someone who cares whether you are happy and gets upset with themselves if they hurt you / let you down.

In some sense I think that's true. I think on the first page you said you couldn't imagine life without him, and I think that's not a great place to be in. I've been there. I was so blinded by love and so desperately wanted it to work, that I couldn't see how unhappy it was actually making me. My ex treated me in a very similar way to your partner, it was always me making the effort and tryin to make it work. As hard as it is, sometimes you have to put YOUR happiness first, and if he doesn't make you happy, find someone that will.
