realised now ive done todays list wrong - i totally blitzed the room and its taken me all day. my fault as i sort of got carried away. the room was basically full of stuff and just has open shelves so i took it all out apart from the bed and worked through it. basically one bin bag of rubbish outside ready to go, 2 binbags ready to go to the CS next time we are in town, a big box full of stuff for DD2 to take next weekend if she wants it and a box full of christmas related stuff to go in the attic.
Its still a store room as theres a huge dolls house in there waiting for DD2s fellas little girls birthday and a couple of boxes of clothes im still 'looking after' for DD2 along with a box full of stuff DD3 keeps saying she'll eblay. but it does look much better. it will look even better once all of that is gone as well.
going to give the kitchen a quick s&s now then feed DS2 before scouts.SPC~12 ot 124

Sounds like you've had a productive day Mrs-moneypenny, even if you didn't do it the right way! I've done a bit of decluttering and bagged up some clothes for CS and a few bits of DD's jewellery (buts she had when she was 4, bless!) and some books.
Can I ask your advice please. Is it worth going through all the palaver of taking photos and listing clothes on fleabay or should I just CS them? I'm not keen to do it if I'll only get say 99p an item and then Paypal take their fees. Any thoughts from you seasoned fleabayers??Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
i'm too lazy to eblay anything so it all goes down the cs. DD3 will eblay bits if she thinks they are worth it but shes getting disheartened by the increasing fees and hassle so hasnt bothered herself for a while.SPC~12 ot 124

Thankyou MummyD and Dusty for your kind words re: DS2, I am ever so proud of him. Hopefully the impending extractions won't set him back, but I will bear in mind the Phenergan suggestion if it does. Is it prescription only now? I remember buying it for DD when she was 2 and suffered with horrible travel sickness and she wasn't old enough to have Joyrides and the like; you could give it before bed to ease the nausea the following day. My sister used to work in a pharmacy and told me about a horrible lady who used to buy it a LOT in an attempt to somewhat sedate her disabled teenage son as he got on her nerves. She ended up blacklisted in all the pharmacies in that area of Edinburgh as a result, and quite rightly so.
I spent all afternoon doing a beauty stocktake and the results made me  I did declutter the bedroom surfaces as I emptied my make up drawer though. Chopped veg and bacon for tonight's risotto and I'm just about to razz the vac round before DH gets home.0 -
Things not gone quite to plan today although kitchen was tidy & clean before I left for DS2 school drop off (& fed washing machine!)
My Ma's best friend & neighbour passed away on Saturday so have been consoling her & helping the relatives find necessary paperwork etc.:(
Tea's on the go, fire's roaring & the house overall is tidy(ish) so I'm happy with that..;)
Looking at a cottage tomorrow so may be on the move soon.. (fingers crossed pls) This would be a fresh start for us all after a few very stressful years where we are now!
Happy Birthday Coffeequeen & hugs for everyone else (have scanned posts but not read all properally.. sorry)
Am in for tomorrow although I'm wondering if the excitement may get in the way.. :rotfl:"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇🥇🥇0 -
I haven't accomplished anything other than buying a new, much smaller, maiden.
I've put a couple of wash loads on and set the DW off but that's it.
DD1 and her BF have gone to centr3 Parc5 today. They booked it last minute. I wish I'd had more notice. We don't have a spare bedroom so I would have used the opportunity to decorate one of the other bedrooms. The littlies room needs some refreshment.
Helen J I hope the assessment goes well and you get your date soon for the big op.

Awww, bless, Natty what a little sweetie! I love the little white bit on the one side of his little nose.:D
I'm stopping now; Mr LW is on his way home, and as soon as he gets here we're doing a quick dash to @ldi; then he can read his emails while I get the pasta in cheese sauce done. Everything's set out in the kitchen ready to go, so shouldn't take long.
I made a nut loaf - or rather it's done as far as getting it into the loaf tin. I need to make cakes or biscuits tomorrow, so I'll bake it along with those. Kitchen surfaces have, of course, been cleaned behind me.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
