Beautiful kitten, Natty.
Did my dailies then struggled through the traffic to number 3 gs's preschool. Spent the morning there as it was his first time. Collected dd's crazy chocolate lab and came home for lunch.
My afternoon was taken up with gs who went home about 7 o'clock. Then it was supper for hubs and me and after that me time - knitting.
Hope to make up for lost time tomorrow.0 -
FBO - you're doing great hun x
Natty love the look of your new mog, DS3 is not ready for a new one but that day will come (and we still have 2)
DanceMum great news on pops
It has only taken about 30 minutes to get DS2 into bed and settled, fully expect the usual antics in the morning but we do have cricket nets to look forward to in the evening.
Off to do a list now before watching Sherlock with DH (going to see if he will squeeze me sore feet whilst watching) and I'll turn some cricket trousers up for DS3 at the same time. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Oh CoffeeQueen a poorly child on your birthday, thats not fair! I suggest you have your birthday tomorrow instead.
Another manic day here and at the risk of sounding like a stuck record I am really tired. I am chipping away at some of the jobs that really need doing though so thats good.
Washing had to go in the tumble drier. It was out from 8am to 3pm and was still wet. The laundry basket is still half full but it can wait.
DS1 is in hospital for the day tomorrow so my parents are coming over to stay with DS2 when he gets home from school. Have made them a shepherds pie for tea. I need to do a big food shop this week though as we are getting very low on supplies.
But thats it for me for today, I am officially off duty now and it wont be too long before I am in bed!0 -
Oh no CoffeeQueen sorry your birthday wasn't as expected. Get well vibes to littly.
Not bad here. All kitchen sides clean, 2 loads of washing done and hung and 2 loads folded but not put away yet!
Cleared the floordrobe in our bedroom but forgot to take duster up then had to school run it!
Got a lovely belated bday gift from my friend of some Yankees so will burn one tomorrow I think.
Lasagne eaten, swimming lesson done. Dh finally home after a mammoth shift, he's gone to bed.
Car in for its MOT in the morning, crossing fingers it passes..
Hugs to all who need them.

CoffeeQueen sorry to hear about DD2 giving you an unwanted birthday present
; hope she recovers quickly .... and no-one else comes down with it.
Yorkshirelass hope DS1 gets on well with hospital appointment. Sounds like you definitely need an early night!
Dusty enjoy the foot rub - have to admit I HATE having my feet touched but I think I'm in the minority.
Still waiting for DH to finish his phone calls but good news is I'm ahead of myself for tomorrow's typing work so all good. Think I'm going to bed soon as tired out; these new meds do make me sleepy zzzzzzFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Me too. I just about managed to "let" my DH do my toenails when I was too pregnant to reach, but that's it.
Night all. "See" you tomorrow night <yawn>Bossymoo

Marvellous Monday Basics
Wipe the kitchen sides (just what you can see) DONE
Clean the kitchen sink, DONE slosh some soda crystals WHAT ARE THESE? ANY GOOD? and hotwater down
Hoover and mop the floor THATS MY LEAST FAVOURITE THING, MOPPING. BUT I DID A QUICK STEAM MOP
Bedroom Declutter
Tackled DS1 and DS2's room. Don't feel on top of it really since before xmas as so many new toys. But tidied away all clothes, books. And then tackled the teddies. They've got masses of the things, and I spend 15 minutes sitting them up to look neat every few days. Ha! What a waste of time!
Now got an ikea bag stuffed full, and much less cluttered bunk beds!
LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0 -
OO, can I ask what a maiden is? Is it a clothes airer/metal pole stand up thingy? Or is there a secret thing I don't know about??
With 3 DS's and no tumble dryer I really hope there's something else better out there?LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0 -
I've had a big sort out of paperwork this afternoon. I flung loads of general gift idea sheets that I've not touched in years. I think DD was in nursery when I last used them so that would be the summer of 2005
That cleared a good 2" in my folder
I need to get rid of paperwork that's no longer valid up until is it 6 financial years ago? Am I right to assume anything before Apr 2006 can go, keeping stuff for the financial year Apr 2006-2007 onwards? I will be scanning it all before I start shredding
Can't wait until I can start chucking 2007/08 through 2010/11 stuff, they take up 2 lever arch folders on their own due to the amount of paperwork from when I was on benefits between the jobcentre, tax credits, CSA and council . It seems I got a letter from them all at least once every week at one point!
I've not achieved much else, but I think I do now have all my tax paperwork together, and all the filing since the summer holidays is now done. I actually have loads of room in my file box now to store this months papersTax return can wait until Wednesday, I'll be using my 'work' laptop then so will be able to look at previous years ones to make sure that I do have everything I need before I start and I can triple check my figures.
For now, I'm going to chill and have some me time. DD has just watched 6 episodes of TBBT back to back (She got the box set for Christmas) and my head is thumping now.
Hoping to run errands tomorrow, weather permitting:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0
