I'll join in the Flylady Arms with a Hot Chocolate.

And I've just brewed a decaff tea (if I drink "normal" tea at this time of the evening I won't be able to sleep). All tastes catered for here!
  • /haven't really followed either the declutter or 2013 this week (hangs head in shame) I have just had some me time with dead relatives on @ncestry before they switch my sub off. Going to fold some towels, as the Mt Foldmore will be entering the Giuness book of records, and my neatly stacked airing cupboard is actually empty.

Then I am going to bed as I am actually yawning here.

    Nighty night
The cold never bothered me anyway

((hugs)) Dusty. LW - you are not an 'F' word. You are a kind and generous friend who gives us lots of encouragement. Just think of it as being the manager - you are delegating

Ditto to both! My GUAG went MIA yesterday and hasn't yet returned - in other words, nothing got done yesterday and today, so am going to call it a night. Sweet dreams all.

Tea here, too - although not decaff. I don't often drink alcohol at home (collecting DS1 from work at 11pm or because I forget and end up having a cuppa). Why is it that I fancy a drink as soon as I've started taking tablets that don't mix well with alcohol!

I've finally caught up on here and will hopefully make better progress with flying over the weekend. Off to bed now.
  • Thannkyou all for ur replies regarding HV .... ill be telling her how it is tuesday and if she doesnt like it she knows where the door is .. simples !!

my phones !!!!!!ed ! luckily its covered by samsung for 2 yrs and hoping i dont get charged cuz im in enough debt and skint enough as it is without adding too it ... even if it is only a small amount ...
downside is i will loose all the xmas pics, pics of baby as newborn and pics of LO's 5th bday ... knew i should of tranfered them to my laptop ... its my own fault i forgot DP had a diffrent phone (we did both have samsungs so shared the charger) and put his charger in my phone so ive bug%$^ed the charging port and port to connect it to my laptop ... we thought it was the battery so we brought a new one so i wouldnt have to send it off and loose all my pics ...

DP had his scan today its been confermed he has got DVT @ 22 yrs old ... even the specialist nurse was shocked he meets no criteria ... he smokes but not much and has never done drugs etc .... he hasnt had an op recently etc etc etc ... so she was confused ... he did make me laugh though ... he didnt think they would scan his whole leg and wore the wrong type of underwear his face when the scanning lady told him to take his trousers off ... and him trying to hold it all so she wouldnt see ... i couldnt help but laugh at him ... bless he was so embarrassed ..... hes got to have treatment for the next 6 months and then after hes finished treatment they are going to test him for a blood disorder just incase and hes opted to wear this stocking thing for the nexst 2 yrs to try and prevent more in the future or something

if anyone could send me some good luck and hugs it wpuld be much apriciated ... its just been one thing after another the last few months :(

ive got to keep thinking posititve .... ive been through 50x worse than all this ... come on girl pick urself up !! :) ...

flying wise ... ive loaded the WM and TD twice
    hooveredd the livingroom
eaten !!!! woopwoop ... i keep forgetting to eat

    but not much else :(:(

hoping to catch up abit tomoz morning before i go and pick LO up from his grandparents x

  • WM & TD on again ... 2 more loads to dry 1 more to wash and then the nappies to wash and air dry and im done until more is added which will be tomorrow ...

some how my phone has magically started charging ,,.,, fingers crossed its ok and it was the battery like DP originally thought ... i have backed up most of the pics onto fb for now because i cant put them onto my laptop ... the only ones that are missing are LO's 5th bday ones ... me not thinking i deleted pics off my phone before they had finished uploading but ive got the ones of baby when he was first born and xmas and the ones of baby and LO that i wanted so im happier than i was because if it keeps playing up it will have to be sent off so i could of lost the lot .... all 400 of them !!! that will teach me for leaving them on my phone..

Baby is asleep.... hes been asleep now the last 2 hours but i cant seem to switch off so will probably wait too see if he wakes for a feed. feed him change him and then see if i can nod off xxx night all see you all in the morning hope everyone has a nice weekend. hugs to those that need/want them x

Ours is an enormous room though so it was ok.. I think all 4 walls in a smaller room would be a bit too pink.

Opto-mummy, I'm very glad to hear that you've recovered your photos. After my near-disaster with my flash drive this week, I know the relief of being able to get irreplaceable photos back. Did you forward any of LO's birthday pics to any of your friends and family (e.g. grandparents)? If so, can they send a copy back to you? GWS wishes to your DP - your story made me laugh!

I have had a good night's sleep, unbroken for 6 hours, so perhaps I will be able to look interested and stay awake all through today's meetings. I've got an hour's drive ahead of me to get there, but expect there will be very little traffic on the roads. We're meeting at a place near Evesham, so a beautiful part of the country to drive through as the sun rises :)

I woke up thinking about compost bins :rotfl: - I hate throwing away all the veg peelings when my sandy soil could do with enrichment, and I now have a suitable empty section of border on which to put one. Garden centre, here we come! :D

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Thanks! What a coincidence! It's not a small room, I'd say comfortable double-size (she's in the small room now). It looks paler on your pic - so I'm just going to do it!

Is it good coverage? Will 2 coats be enough? It's only going over "almond white" or similar.

I'm getting up soon, will go find some breakfast and some more dust sheets. Oh and a different light bulb, the ES one in there casts a very dim yellow light. So I'm going into the garage. I may be some time :rotfl:

ETA Helen Jelly hope all went well yesterday X
