Hugs dusty, glad you've had some time out.

I've just painted two windowsills and three doors. Now having a minor crisis of confidence about the emulsion colour :rotfl: wondering if its going to feel like going to sleep in a marshmallow :rotfl: so I think my next job will be to clear out the (built in) cupboards and paint the inside. It will give me a better idea of what it looks like on a larger area. But maybe not tonight. This bottle of Pinot has just opened itself, poured into a glass and leapt into my hand ;)

If it's too bright would it be a huge mistake to mix it with white?

what paint is it? We did the girls room in a pale pink.. which is actually the same colour as marshmallows and it looks lovely. but if you decide to mix with white it will be fine so long as you mix it thoroughly otherwise you end up with a streaky white/pink.

Oddly enough, pigpen, it is called "pale pink" and is a b&q own matt emulsion.

It might be me being overly cautious. I'm not keen on a pink bedroom but I know she will love it.

Ah - sod it! It will paint over if its that bad ;)

Another exhausting week of work.... So I've treated myself to a catch up!

There has been some general flying around the house by those who are home all day. Biggest amount of stuff removed by DS1 who has rented some storage space for his business stuff, so now his room and the living room now look a lot less like a warehouse and packing station :))) :D
OH has been decluttering bedroom, and I have done a little bit too, but not much.

Off to London for a mini conference tomorrow, which I am looking forward to even if really too tired to go. At least I don't have to drive and I can do some planning on the train.

Love and hugs to everyone who could make good use of them.
