Big hugs from me
Well I have brought my kids up to eat sensibly and generally we all live a fairly healthy lifestyle. DS1 has Crohns Disease and DS2 has a kidney problem and now this problem with his teeth. How does that happen?
Well after a couple of drinks with you lot last night I slept like a log. Big plans for today. I know I twitter on about my little office but I really do want to make it nice enough for me to actually work in. This would hopefully encourage me to keep on top of some of my paperwork.
Oh and poor doggie has a dodgy tummy and left me a little present for me to come downstairs to this morning. Lovely. Utility room windows are now open - cant believe how many birds are singing!
Off to get a shower and get moving.0 -
Good morning all
Given myself a good talking too and back on track this morning. WM on, bed striped, mogs fed, bins emptied, LR tidied and about to make scones for DS3.
Optomum best wishes for DP and glad they have realised something is wrong. Have they done blood tests to check for other nasties? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hugs Optimum, and buckets of good luck heading your way.
Ionafan heading off to the garden centre. Who didn't that coming this week!
I feel as though I've missed out on a virtual get-together at the Flylady Arms last night. Hope all heads are feeling okay this morning.Better is good enough.0 -

Looks like free listing on ebay - they must know you all have a pile from your bedrooms to list. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

I am liking the pink
well, I won't want to sleep in here, but it is starting to look very pretty. I will have one very happy 3yo tomorrow night
I've done 2.5 walls and about to move the bed - window wall and built in cupboard wall. More cutting in, but less area to paint.
Then ceiling (hate that bit)

And the same from here!
Looks like it's going to be one of those days when daylight never really seems to make an appearance. Drizzly, gloomy and all that. But there are dailies to be done, frogs to be eaten and people need feeding - I'll be lucky if the bedroom gets any more attention today (either that or I'll it as a displacement activity). Shopping is largely done, although I need to go up into our little town at some point.
Today's must-do list:
clean breadmaker and start pizza dough
work stuff
studying
dailies
planning with DS2
Top-up shop (mainly milk)
Have a good weekend, everyone.0 -
Thanks! What a coincidence! It's not a small room, I'd say comfortable double-size (she's in the small room now). It looks paler on your pic - so I'm just going to do it!
Is it good coverage? Will 2 coats be enough? It's only going over "almond white" or similar.
We were covering lining paper so a similar colour but it took 3 coats in some places but that was sue to porous paper rather than anything it does cover nicely. B&Q paint is actually crown/macphersons so not a poor quality.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all. Just showered:o after decluttering some crumps for bfast and episodes of Silent W and NCIS!!!
Now about to attempt to make extremely large outdoor cushion store so that all outdoor cushions can be banished from the house but stay dry!! Prob put in garage for now. Hoping that one will be large enough but did buy 2! Mt T half price so in effect buy one get one free:rotfl:DH hates that S A L E word - it's a four letter word in our house!
Not sure what else will get done other than more WWI stuff but not in too bad a state ( except the paper frog!) and have started another big bedroom - inside the cupboards but only one cupboard at a time. 1 down 3 and 4 small to go. Might attempt the window seat as it has the four small cupboards - but later.
Hugs and get wells to all needing them and have a great w/end xxJuly 16 £95/£200
