Hugs to opto-mummy and her other half..
Trying to catch up on flying - DD2 has wanted to talk a lot this week and I have just sat with her. She is coping okay now, but they still don't know when the funeral will be.
It looks like DS is coming home. The house has been relet and they have to be out sometime this week. He turned up with a his chest of drawers and all his clothes on Thursday, so has to come here to change now.
We will be sorting out the dining room for him to sleep in. (He has been told that this is not a long term solution - he has to start planning for his future.)
Unimpressed by the fact he has turned up with dirty washing - jeans with pizza stains on from New Year..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
*slides in like she posts every day* really sorry, time short at the mo but I do hope everyone is ok
I've been good and having a lazy morning as a treat so thought I would pop in. I've made massive headway in some of the sorting out. Boys have even helped.
Today's missions
Put the rest of the stray laundry into baskets, dirty and clean, no more floordrobes!
Help DS1 in putting his wardrobe right, he's tried which is important
Sort the bathroom storage boxes out, fling anything I moved into the last house with out *cringe* not easy for a hoarder
Sort a kitchen cupboard & see if the April 2011 peaches are okOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Two loads of washing on the line
Football boots, shin pads and boot bag washed and outside too
I'm in the middle of clearing up the flower bed nearest the back door, being outside I know is necessary for my soul.
DS2 back from playing tennis
DS1 in the shower as he is going to go and collect DS3 from squash
Need to try to set up the turbo trainer for DS3 later, DS2 can help with that. DS1 can help me move the fallen fence and decide if it can go back up or needs to be dismantled. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Audiologist appointment this morning was cancelled, as the audiologist had phoned in sick. Rescheduled for Feb 1; so having got myself all psyched up for it, I have to go through it again in a fortnight.:( Not her fault though - she can't help not being well.
Jessie made a new friend on the afternoon walk - Border Collie named Calley. Muggins here ended up throwing a stick for about 10 mins for the little madam to chase!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Phew! I'm all painted out! But it's done (I'm sure there will be a few patches in the morning...). Two coats on the walls, which seems to have done the trick. But we'll see in daylight.
I've painted inside the cupboard too and have a carpet off cut in the loft that will go in the bottom.
It needs a good hoovering then I need to rearrange furniture which seems to be everywhere upstairs.
And I need to put the cotbed up for sale. No idea how much for... Might have a look on fleabay completed listings.
DD can have the trundle from the spare bed until her new one arrives (hopefully next Thursday!).
I like this bit! Dressing the room! Saddo here will have a lovely Saturday night in hanging fabric bunting and deciding where the pics will go :rotfl:Bossymoo

hello
(note to self p 14)
well - week two and I am exhauusted. I have a chety thing and the voice keeps going but so do I!
Have managed to clean the bathroom, the wheelie buin has been washed out and I have cleaned DS's room, cleared out carp and remade his bed. Heating off in there now until he plans on coming home. Now I know there isn't a mess behing the door I am begining to feel a bit more upbeat. Oh. and my fuel bill DD has dropped AGAIN.:T Other oft repeated mantra in Valliland...turn it OFF!:rotfl:
DD's 18 in a week and a half and I am trying to sort that, too. It never ends.
