Morning everyone. Thanks for the list Dusty. I'm in. Spending most of today on the train back to Birmingham. Then I get to see Ozzie for the first time since Christmas and then it was only for about 4 hrs. Is it sad that I have missed him more than DH? I could at least talk to him on the phone.
Anyway, feeling positive about getting my life back in order and continuing with it after what feels like forever down a black hole. Yesterday was my one month 'birthday' and I feel like a new person. Bright eyed and bushy tailed. Here's praying for the strength to make it last.
(((hugs))) to all in need, and lots of sticks for BD's. Mine seems to have receded a bit - wonder why that is? Looking forward to catching up with all the news and welcome to all the newbies.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Happy Birthday CoffeeQueen _party_
I'm trying again this weekI'm going to take it slowly though, more frequent & worse panic attacks over the weekend
not helped by being mostly on my own over the weekend.
I pulled a muscle or something yesterday, my shoulder and neck are quite painful. I've taken some pills but they haven't touched itso no the way back from dropping DD1 to the station (painful experience) I nipped into my parents and borrowed some cream to rub in, hopefully that will work. DD2 has just taken great pleasure in rubbing it on the poorly patch and making me cry
I'm going to have a coffee then pick up round the box I call my bedroom . . . .0 -
Morning everyone
I'm in, can't do the bedroom today as DH is in bed - he was up all night in pain
I've a little bit of ironing to do [read that as a huge pile] and some paid ironing to do too, paid stuff can wait till tomorrow, ours is in real need so I'll do that today
Thanks for the lists ladies x

Morning flyladies
I'm in for the deep clean, as best I can fit it around the paid stuff, anyhow. Thankyou Dusty and Natty, as always.
DS2 has another dreaded dentist appointment this morning so no rushing out the door for 8.30 today; will leave at about 9.05.
WUDUPA already, WM fed, airer stripped.
I have signed up to the "no buying unnecessary toiletries" thread so I would like to make a full inventory of my bathroom cupboards and my cosmetics and "hair" drawers this week, the idea being if I know what I have, I hopefully won't make random purchases. It's a daunting task though, I started writing categories for my make up and post-cleansing skincare and I have a full page (two columns) of A6 paper  and I dread to think how much is in each category. I had a quick count through my eyeshadows yesterday and I stopped when I got to 70  and that was counting palettes as one item, even though some of them contain 12 individual shadows. I am ashamed
Happy birthday, coffeequeen! Enjoy your reunion with Ozzy, FBO, and hugs, sticks, spoons and GWS vibes to all of you in need xx0 -
Hello,
Today I found this forum and I would like to join!
I have been a flybaby for about ten years ans I've been on and off the wagon. Many things are working very well in my home, thanks to FL, but I am longing to take it a little further.
I really want to get into zone cleaning and I think that joining here might help for that. Peeling off another layer of clutter is a good idea too. I've had many decluttering periods, but still there's quite some stuff to get rid off and some routine to develop.
But now I'm first gonna eat my frog for today: grocery shopping. I adapted my weekly plan!0 -
Morning all.

Well I'm going to have my breakfast and do some online stuff while I watch Sherlock from last nightCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Welcome Odile.
Beautiful and sunny drive to school, traffic was heavy on the way back but views across the fields were lovely. Just having a cuppa, I need some sunglasses for the low sun mornings.
I've HH before the hair dresser arrives so I'll do the basic flying before then leaving the bigger challenge for after lunch. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Happy Birthday CoffeeQueen!... the large number of pairs of scissors overcrowding my pencil pot: several of them appeared after our last visit to 1ke@ and then I discovered even more in a drawer
There is no such thing as too many pairs of scissors in a house. We have a pair in every room except the letting rooms and the cupboard under the front steps - where a pair will be installed today after several trips last week to get a pair while freezer sorting.FurryBeastOz wrote: »Yesterday was my one month 'birthday' and I feel like a new person.
Happy 'birthday' FBO and HUGE congratulations for everything you've achieved so far.
Welcome Odile.
That list is pure genius Dusty. The kitchen will get a quick once over (which it needs) and this bedroom will get all the surfaces cleared, cleaned and totally sorted. I'm particularly grateful for the tip about the first 30 minutes.Better is good enough.0 -
Morning all
I'm going to try for a full week this time since moving the router downstairs should provide reliable internet access. Long (and boring) story.
Thank you for the list, Dusty (and for last week's, Natty). I'll do what I can. Since most of the house needs sorting I'm happy if it looks better at the end of the week than it did at the beginning, if that makes sense.
Welcome to this mad but friendly place, Odile.
Nice to see you here, Greenbee.
Happy birthday, CoffeeQueen and FBO.
Time to sort out a list, do a couple of the dailies and then a HHC. 10.15 anyone?0
