  • Morning everyone
Thank you Dusty - I am in - our bedroom or the room of doom? - that is the question!!!! If I am honest I did Christmas clean the whole house but that didn't include inside the cupboards - keep finding fluff balls in the wardrobes - ugh!
Can't do much in DS room as he was too tired to sort his wardrobes etc at Xmas - in there I propose to take photos on digital camera of everything and ask him the three questions next time we see him!!

    Marvellous Monday Basics
Wipe the kitchen sides (just what you can see)
Clean the kitchen sink, slosh some soda crystals and hotwater down
    Hoover and mop the floor

    Bedroom Declutter
Today's aim is to deal with everything you can see without opening drawers/cupboards, looking under beds (don't worry that will come). For some this will be easy for others a huge challenge.

Imagine how you would like the room to be at the end of the week.

    Also HMRC tax refund letter
    More WWI research
HHI - all washing done yesterday.

Decided - room of doom - that means the small bedroom where all my Car Boot stuff is hiding. We hope to do one soon - already gave a ton to the Charity Shops before Christmas so this is towards new clothes for our holiday this year.

Hope everyone has a great day - hugs etc where needed. I hope by the end of the week to have one room looking just how my head wants it to look - then that will give me more motivation to get the rest exactly the same.

    Thanks for the thread Dusty.

  • Morning all.

    Thanks for the list Dusty.

This looks marvellous. 4 bedrooms to choose from though. Eek!

Will do mine though as it's in danger of becoming a dumping ground. Am going to strip the bed now as it needs doing & will do half hour in there when I get back from the school run & shopping later this morning.

Take care all. Love, hugs & spoons xxx

Morning all. Hope you're all ok. I'm in again this week although after two years flying, I don't need to declutter any rooms so any jobs relating to that will just be me sorting out the hall cupboards which are a bit messy although I made a start on Saturday.

This morning I'm going to have a quick clean of the LR before the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all

    Happy Birthday Coffee Queen.

S[ept badly and DS3 is already all doom and gloom. I'll finish DS2's lunch, shower, drive them to school and be back 9ish - traffic depending.

    Happy Birthday CoffeeQueen!

A nice little yellow digger arrived outside our house at 7.00 am and the garden gang are due any minute now :D

Thank you Dusty for this week's list and Natty for last week's (from which I managed to do most things :D)

I'm in again this week, with the study/bedroom upstairs demanding my attention - it will be good to get it sorted. I want to get the children's bookshelves put up, but that involves a lot of drilling of walls for the brackets and getting them level, so I may have to leave them for the carpenter to do when he comes again in 6 weeks' time. But all the books in one place, so I don't have problems with leaving them. It's things like the old Christmas cards and business papers that need culling - not to mention the large number of pairs of scissors overcrowding my pencil pot: several of them appeared after our last visit to 1ke@ and then I discovered even more in a drawer

Hugs to everyone in need, especially Mumof2 and Helen and Mr Jelly. Sticks thrown for BDs. Plenty of spoons in the pot by the hob - please help yourselves if you've run out.

    Have a good week, all!
