Mine's 10 and his snoring woke me at 5:03! From the next room . Then I could hear the baby crying next door so she's awake too unless NN manages to get her off again. Poor woman is becoming very concerned about their household noise and apologises to me about it every time she sees me. I don't find them really noisy tbh, hear the odd thing but most of the time, it's just an awareness of noise next door.

Right, kids to school early and I must go to M&S to return a brolley. Tomorrow's the last day to return it and it was £15 .
Need to try and sleep later this afternoon as back to work tonight. I finish on Thursday morning so will struggle with the lists but will do what I can. DH makes so much mess in the kitchen that it takes all my time to clear that when I'm on nights. Proper disgusting mess like sink full of disgusting bits and slimy cloths, shudder.
    Ok, ttfn x
    Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.
    MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.

I'm so glad I found this thread! I thought I could just start flying and doing daily thingies, but what I forgot with the whole flylady mantra is to decluttering whole house before you can start doing the other stuff properly.
So have spent last 3 days in ds1&2's room. Toy rotation system should be finished today, charity shop bag is overflowing, and found 10 unopened Xmas presents! they'll be regifted or returned now!
But just reading this has given me drive to keep up with the little jobs. If I don't do them, no one ekse will, and if I get in a dark mood and start house hating I've only got myself to blame
LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021
got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩

Morning all, I hope everyone is ok. I haven't posted for a couple of days on here as life has been chaotic. More details on my diary if anyone is interested, but suffice to say, please can the flyladies send get well quick vibes for my DS who is in hospital.

Flying wise, each room has had attention this week as I've been doing the basics and a few other bids. Also a full sack has gone to the charity shop.

Hope everyone has a great day.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Hugs to those who need it. My HV convinced me that I wasnt coping when DS1 was 2 and DS2 was a tiny baby. I felt fine until I spoke to her! And yeah its hard being a Mum at the best of times but when you have got really little ones everyone finds it tough. Despite my HVs opinion I got through the next 15 years OK.

Pigpen - sorry to hear about DD but glad it all turned out OK. Different situation but DS2 and I got wires crossed about where I was supposed to be picking him up after footie the other night and he was in floods of tears when I found him. I felt sooo bad.

Anyhow, got to run. Dentist this morning, then work, then grocery shopping, then I have a date with Mr Henry the Hoover. Have a good day all x

hugs good wishes and positive vibes for all who need/want them.
    thank you for yesterday,

going to have a general S&S round the house today and catch up on the bit of ironing.
ill print off the bedroom spring clean list from this week and come back to it.
hope all the poorlies start feeling a bit better soon, any any niggling worries start to ease.

i never had a lot of faith in HVs either mine had a way of saying you were 'coping marvellously' in a way that made you feel so inadequate.
by the fifth i just learnt to smile and nod.

Well you can all have Pixie today... she came to bed with me at midnight.. snaggled, snuffled, flapped and wriggled ALL night and is now sleeping peacefully in my freaking bed!!!!!!!!

Opto.. if you don't want them to come say no.. they can only come round if you allow it.. they badger you to tears then tell you they think in their untrained medical diagnosis of PND.. if you are ok tell them so and take control of the situation. It is not too late to ring and cancel .. or simply 'forget' the appointment and go out.. I find midwives and health visitors the most rude, intrusive self esteem and self confidence destroying people ever. They try to make to feel stupid and unable to do simple things.. of course you are tired you have just had a baby!!! I'd be more concerned if you weren't tired with a newborn!

    Morning all

Jazee sending get well vibes for your DS

Some evil, grumpy old nag has inhabited my body :o Had a row with DH before he left the country for two weeks. He didn't say goodbye and I had to deal with a crying DS3 before doing the school run.

I have the house to myself now for a couple of hours so I'm going to sit, drink tea and eat some paper frogs.
