Morning all. Just a pottering day today. DH didn't get back from work yesterday til 10.45pm (having left for work at 7.45am!) and then proceeded to work in his office til gone midnight  so it was a bit of a disturbed night!
My list and THE list combined:
Thursday Basics
S&S toilets and sinks
15 minutes dealing with hotspots/putting things away
Hoover anywhere in need - upstairs
Clean up breakfast things and wipe counters
Do a load of laundry
Do dishwasher
Put away results of a successful conquering of yesterdays's ironing mountain!
Bedroom - Finishing the deep Clean begin
Strip the bed. If you can turn the mattress and hoover it. Dust the bedframe.
Remake the bed with fresh laundry.
take pictures and do write ups for fleabay items
SORT THE MEDICINES
Hugs, sticks, spoons and vibes where needed. All I need today is a kick up the backside! :rotfl:

Morning all
Hugs, sticks, spoons and vibes to those in need.
I'm working today. Just having a hot coffee then I'm off out to collect books. It being the first time since early December I'm guessing a lot of people will have forgotten and I'll have loads to collect tonight
Other plans for today are to wash dishes which are breeding again, make something with mince for tea tonight (ended up with a sausage casserole last night due to trying to stick to calorie limits) and the entire house needs vacuuming after DD left a trail of dried mud behind her this morning
If I have the time I might do some other flying but I'll have to see how tired I am after lugging all these books around.
I might have just sorted out a gift from DD for ex's wedding. She wanted to get them something, and thanks to MSE I may have found something reasonably unique and suitable:j We've only been half looking since the engagement :rotfl::rotfl:
Right, off to get sorted to go out. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hmm, am reclined on the bed, supping my coffee. Have just flung the Hoover round the floor and puss cat has plonked very happily on my feet! Top of dressing table has been cleared. I had a glass jar for work bits but it isn't big enough for pens/scissors/tourniquet/watch/ID badge/torch so they are now all in a basket and it is neater.
I find myself wanting to keep the glass jar as it's pretty. I also know DD doesn't have proper hair slide and net storage so will see if she would like it once it's been through the DW.
Puss now asleep with front legs outstretched and is draped over and curled around my feet! Hi there,
I found flylady a few years ago and I definitely live by some of the great tips. I'm glad to see there's a thread on here for it. Do I just say 'Im in?' and then follow your challenges for the day? Sounds brilliant!
Welcome hope you are still with us.
Mrs MP - you did so much on Monday you deserve too do less.

Just going to get washed and redressed and then sort my list for town. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning flylady friends.
I've been ironing since I've been back from the school run. I have stripped the bunk beds and shuffled a few loads through the WM and TD. Losing the will to live now!
DH is WFH. He has been to the dr for more ab's for the cold that hasn't gone since Boxing Day. I keep talking to him about the lack of revision DS2 is not doing. He just isn't interested. I am dreading a repeat of DS1's academic woes. All I do is nag DS2. I get phone calls from school telling me he needs to pull his socks up. I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall.
Sorry for moaning, best get back to the ironing....0 -
Just popping in to moan!
I have done next to nothing in my house all week and it's a bomb siteI really need to knuckle down. I think I'll iron when I get home from work and picking up DS2; please feel free to encourage kick me into action if you see me hangin' round here instead of getting this place to rights!

Oh dear. We've only just got in. Been to see about some blinds and bought some paint. Then my mum called so we popped by hers.
DD is tired out and having multiple tantrums, I'm so trying not to laugh but it's not working :rotfl:
So its 1pm and I've not even been in the spare room
I've 2hrs before we start thinking about the school run, I've not eaten, and I'm debating whether to let DD have a nap, she's just snuggled up with her blankie... It will give me flying time now but may scupper our bedtime routine...
Mrs MP are you ok? XBossymoo

Don't really know what to say to DD2, apart from that we are here for her....
I know we're not supposed to use the F word here, but I'm afraid I'm feeling a complete failure.:( Before I became ill, I used to spring clean every room, thoroughly, on my own, with not too much trouble - including a very awkward stairwell (this was before I came to live with Mr LW, of course). Now I look at the Deep Clean list and there is no way on this earth I can manage even a fraction of it.:( *cries*
The one thing I will say is that our mattress is turned and hoovered every 8 weeks; we instigated this when we bought our current bed.
Mr LW has collected my morphine prescription from the surgery (bless him, he left stupidly early this morning, to do this):A so we'll pop into town as soon as he's in from work, to get it filled; I have therefore planned tagliatelle with tinned toms and veggie hot-dogs for dins, which is quick and easy to do when we get back.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Update
Not a good day today. Just got going on the list at lunchtime.:o Have mended the shredder with aid of a wooden skewer! ready for next week or the week after mammoth frog hunting task. So that has been a good job done as I thought it had had it.
Cleaned windows in small bedroom and book room. Washed paintwork down in both too. Floors hoovered again and sheet and mattress protector washed (all that was on the bed). Just got to do the doors and a few ornaments. Will probably do the doors along with the rest of the house doors another day as use a special cleaner for wood.
Now looking for something else to do for an hour and a half! Think I'll a do part of a wardrobe in our room!! It is too big a task to do in a day - even a full one. Must be ruthless!!!!
Probably won't get much done tomorrow as at the library researching newspaper archives.
Take care xxJuly 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200
