    Evening all.

I've washed up, S&S'd kitchen, WMx6, TDx7, stripped DD's bed, made my bed, and done 7 hours of work with the TV on for company. I now have another ironing pile, but will leave it until Friday when I'll have the rest of DD's uniform to wash ;)

This evening I'll get things sorted for work tomorrow and do the dishes. I'm hoping that I can get to sleep at a decent time tonight. I'm getting fed up of seeing 1am :(

My two might be going to the railway museum this weekend :o but I'm sure they'll be happy to go twice ;) I keep forgetting I'm supposed to do painting, might take DD tomorrow to get her emulsion...

Both littlies are in bed :T and clean having had a good dunk in the bath, persuaded by some funnels and empty bottles :D oh and some cheap foam soap a la shaving type.

I've emptied one set of drawers and sorted into keep / ditch. I've another to do, which I'm sure is just bedding with possibly the odd book hiding between...

And I haven't even looked at today's list! I'm rather tired, so might have a bath myself and read in bed for an hour before lights out :)

  • DD2 in floods of tears - one of her work colleagues has died of a heart attack. DD2 loved this lady, who was so laid back she was virtually horizontal. On this day last year a little boy from their after school club died.

Don't really know what to say to DD2, apart from that we are here for her....

Oh CY your poor DD what a shock :( the tears are a good thing, and as hard as it is to see our children in such upset, she needs to work through it :(

I'd like to meet at the station, we'll walk (is it really not pushchair friendly?). Need to decide whether to drive / park n ride or get the train. Probably the former. On the train I'd still have to factor in getting to the station...

Well I've had a bath, stripped and remade my bed, and emptied the second drawers. Three now condensed into two, just spare room bedding. Early night for me...

  • Hi all

Well despite a busy day at work I have hoovered and washed the floors in the office, utility, loo and kitchen. Have washed all the worktops and units, bleached the bin, done 2 loads of washing which are now on the airers, swished the duster around and generally decluttered a number of shoes, coats and other junk (some of which I admit was mine).

Just sat down with a brew and I am thinking it should have been a glass of something stronger. I will put another load of washing in before bed - oh and I need to try and find something for tea tomorrow.

Hugs to those feeling down/unloved/unwell. I have felt a bit of all of these at various times this week. I like the idea of working towards a happier state of mind next month!
