weird start to the year, got flagged down by someone when driving home at the weekned (DH was driving) to be told an old friend hes known since school passed away suddenly that morning. he was in my DH class at school! then tuesday got the weirdest text from another friend of Dhs who basically said its been nice knowing you youve been great friends goodbye. he wouldnt answer his phone to neither me nor the other person who got the same text. so ive spent all of yesterday spamming him with texts as he wouldnt pick up his phone to talk to anyone. i got a couple of replies so knew he was still here. finally DH got him to speak on the phone last night and he basically said hed had a carp new year so decided to cut ties with everyone. but cos im like a dog with a bone and wouldnt let him go its going to be back to how things were between us again. great but ill be walking on eggshells round him now. Because of first friend i was really scared for this one weve known him 35 years and hes never gone off on one like that before.
Im just hoping hes ok now and it was a blip.
ill be ok i just worry about stupid things so when i really get something i go into overdrive.

got another letter from the bank today, confirming the cane frog has been eaten, so that one less fret. (DD1 bought me a worry doll last year and Dh told her at christmas i need another as that ones full:o)

to change the subject DD1 is getting a puppy so i spent the morning making a dog bed, i always had a pet dog before DH but hes not a dog person (i think he had a bad experience as a child ) my mum up untill the last one passed and she decided she is too old kept staffie crosses from when i left home. now the funny thing is of the 3 girls who have flown the coup 1 has a staff, ones getting one and the other is hankering after a huskie. (they got the dog gene off me obviously;)

Does anyone have any BD's they want beating to oblivion? I have a need to beat the crap out of something/someone and that seems like a productive kicking...

DD3 went on a flounce and was 'missing' for 4 hours... cue street walking, police contacting, school hassle..

= pain.. in vast quantities


Pixie snotting, Squeak and Dot squabbling over everything.


I have steam cleaned my stairs in a fit of rage.. windows/mirrors and work surfaces next after I've collected girls from school.


I have rage issues today so line up those BDs to be beaten.

pigpen, im so glad you DD3 is now found and safe. saw on the news about that little boy in Edinburgh his parents must be besides themselves - hoping he is found safe and quickly.
have you got any cushions you can give a good bashing to, i find that or hand bread making help in times when something needs hitting

Blood test (not cleaning but I needed to do it)
Cleaned a pair of shoes on popped on the book of all faces sold £20 yay!
Parcelled up an ebay parcel for posting
Printed a form I needed to print for filling in


I have applied the 'do I need it' rule to some bits and have some things to list on ebay tonight whilst watching tv.

Done a bit in spare room. Might be able to paint woodwork tonight. Also decluttered vanity thing under my sink - too much carp.

Glad DD3 has turned up - though I suspect you may wish to throttle her.

I can't physically bash things any more, but find beating seven bells out of a few trolls, orcs or other unpleasant critters in RPG games helps.

Mrs MP here's hoping the friend's downer was just a passing phase, and is now behind him; very worrying.
Fwiw, Mr LW wasn't a dog person, but now helps me look after our guests, to the point of giving diabetic woofers their insulin jabs.
Don't worry about making a long post; decluttering worries to your friends here is a good thing. x

Wet walkies this afternoon - so Mr LW's wet weather gear (which I borrow on such occasions) is dripping over the bath, and Jessie's towel is drying on the hall radiator.

LW... I have some Orcs needing a beating too.. and a troll or 2.. but I shall make a start on that BD of yours.. I shall beat it beautiful.. it's reet ugly, can't make it worse!!!

I have had strips off DS3.. told him if I have ANY more crap off him he will be in time out at his dads because I won't have rudeness or nastiness and just because I am busy with other children doesn't mean I cannot see or hear what he is doing!!

OH sent to shop.. my cupboards are bare.. I must do a Tesco order before anything else or my cats will starve.

have had an afternoon with the sewing machine so hanging thing is now made for the teacher whos class i have at lunchtime. it says

hope she'll like it. I was told she doesnt celebrate christmas so didnt want to do her something then so its just a 'because you and the class are worth it thing.
Got to sew another badge on the scouts shirt then tidy away the sewing stuff.
