Daren't start on OH's stuff for fear of inadvertently chucking out moth-eaten old tat of highly significant, sentimental and emotional value.

Oh I know where you're coming from with that. I asked DH if I could start going through some of the stuff in the loft or some clothes I know he never wears and got a sheer look of horror in response! Before now he's been out in the garden, tipped out the wheelie bin and gone through it cos I cheerily told him I'd got rid of a bag of carp from the loft ..... never again!

Got a huge bag of stuff for CS from me and the kids (things I was going to fleabay but not worth the pittance I'll get) so will get rid of that on Thursday on my way to Pilates. Had dinner, washed up, given DS a shower and now the onerous task of making sure DD does her homework!

Vacuumed right through the house, been in the loft and saw box of toys - made me feel a bit sad as they're the kids first toys like a play mat for the baby to lie on/soft toys/crinkly books etc. Those days are behind me now so giving them to a friend of DH and his wife who are expecting in the summer.
Don't be sad; it's good that another littl'un will get to enjoy them, rather than they languish in a loft, doing no-one any good.:o

HB you're another whose DH has moth-eaten [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] valuable items, then? I've been trying to get Mr LW to ditch a disreputable jacket for literally years, but so far, no dice. It's hanging on the hook on the back of the spare room door at the moment, because I said it needed airing (I could smell it every time I opened his wardrobe) - I may have to take drastic action soon.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Happy birthday to Kazwookie and Miss A.

So sorry Mrs Chaos, it hurts so much when we lose our beloved pets before their time.

I've been out at a conference today. My mind is bursting with information.

No flying today. I'm working tomorrow so I'll catch up on Thursday.

Years ago a very ancient cat of mine crept into OH's side of the wardrobe and pee'd on a woolly jumper of his. I 'fessed up, handwashed the heavy thing and dried it which, I might add, OH had not worn since I met him but he said he really loved it. Three weeks later old cat did the same thing again to the same jumper. OH no longer wanted either the jumper or the cat but I managed to negotiate a reprieve for the cat.
    Better is good enough.
  • Hi all

MrsC So sorry to hear about your cat, big hugs for you and your DS.
Kazw Happy birthday (& to AnW's Mum's DD)
Natty meant to say yesterday - congratulations on your new kitty, he looks like he could be trouble ;) I keep telling myself to wait until I've moved back 'home' before getting another (I did have 4, then 3 and now down to 2)

Was in bed at 9.30 last night and it's not going to be long before I'm up the wooden hill.

    Flying today:

    DW emptied
    LR & hallway dusted
LR, hallway, kitchen, bathroom & sun room hettyed
    HHI x 2

Fluffy boy cat is poorly :( will have to see if he can keep his food down tomorrow, if not it's a trip to the V.E.T

Hugs, spoons, sticks & GWS vibes to all who need them

    Deco x
