I don't know who knows about care.data but from March GPs will start uploading our medical histories to the big NHS data source in the sky. Once your data is on there it is not possible to delete it. In case you don't want this to happen here is a link to a form to fill in and submit to your surgery:

Of course it is a personal choice and lots of people are pro data collection. Do note that your data is not as anonymised as they hint it isThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
KazW happy birthday hope the sun is shining across your way.
I've half heartedly tidied up upstairs and filled the WM. Just need 10 minutes on here then I'll do another HHThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Mrs Chaos I am so sorry to hear about your little cat.:(
Dusty thanks for the heads-up re medical data; we already dealt with this, but it hasn't been well publicised, and many may not even be aware it's happening.
Well, today's schedule is shot; Jessie was due to arrive 19:00 this evening; I got a call this morning, asking please could she come earlier. So she's here now!:D I don't mind; she's a lovely girl, and no bother at all.
I need to take her for a wee trundle (or a trundle for a wee, lol), I also need to make some Birsay biscuits, or Mr LW will only have sarnies in his lunch box tomorrow.
Bedroom tidying.... hmmm.... the only thing under the bed is the jigsaw puzzle board; and that's it's allotted home. Top of wardrobes - the one in the spare room holds our suitcases, as that's the easiest place to store them. In our room there are 2 boxes of magazines I wish to keep (Pagan Dawn, Wolf Print, and Companions), my sewing machine, the portable fan that we use in the hot weather (in its box), my wool stash (to be reduced, gradually), Mr LW's phone accessories plus a couple of spare handsets (we've been glad of having old ones available before now) and boxes containing my two sunhats and my thigh boots. The ONLY thing that actually needs sorting is a wicker basket of toiletries, which is actually on my frog list, and which I can't currently lift down by myself.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Sorry to hear about your cat Mrs Chaos
Going to do bathrooms now.
The decluttering and drawer emptying out etc of ds's bedroom is rather overwhelming for me. Will do what I can.LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0 -
Oh, and following on from the maiden talk, a friend told me today she has a dehumidifier next to her washing. Dries in less than 12 hours. I'm off to read up about this potential gem!LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩0

Angela84 My Mum & Dad have a dehumidifier but I think I'm right in saying they can be heavy on electricity usage - best to check it all out beforehand.
Vacuumed right through the house, been in the loft and saw box of toys - made me feel a bit sad as they're the kids first toys like a play mat for the baby to lie on/soft toys/crinkly books etc. Those days are behind me now so giving them to a friend of DH and his wife who are expecting in the summer.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
I'm about to make a start. Tiny had peeled off me and is happily lying on my bed having eaten properly for the first time since last night. Must be so hard not being able to talk and say What's wrong.
Picked up dd2 who is now right as rain with a little cough. Washing about to go in. Dishwasher is on. Bedroom cleared of guff. Will start the deep rummage.
Hugs to all and thank you for the well wishes0 -
Sorry to hear about the cat MrsC. Horrible to have that happen.
Decluttered one bag of stuff from bedroom to charity shop. Sorted winter/summer clothes. Need to run a vacuum round and dust. Will S&S bathrm after I have walked the Beast. He's miffed that I went out at 1100 and have only just got back from my volunteer shift at the Foodbank. I've really missed that during the past 4 weeks.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
FBO good to hear you doing so well.
Struggling with lack of energy now. Just cooking dinner and I must read some documents for tomorrow. Hoping DH is home to take DS3 to cricket like he promised. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Very sorry to hear about your littley cat, Mrs Chaos.
Shopping and car wash this morning, having scraped the worst of the bird pooh off the car. Note to self: Don't park under a tree on the Hoe. Decluttered yesterday's excess library books and bottle bank stuff.
Have cleared out and sorted the cupboard above my side of the wardrobe. Daren't start on OH's stuff for fear of inadvertently chucking out moth-eaten old tat of highly significant, sentimental and emotional value.
Will tackle the rest of today's list tomorrow.Better is good enough.0
