I am so sorry for your loss.

I lost my 22 year old brother to the same evil disease last year and my fiance lost his mum to the same thing just 7 weeks before that.

One of the things that was said and has stuck in my mind since then is this:

"God only picks the best flowers for his garden"

They are very wise words, always tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, you just never know! I have lost 2 family members this month so know exactly how true this is!

I have a dear friend in Scotland, we were at school together in the late 1960s and have kept in touch ever since even though I've moved house (and country) many times. I keep thinkig I MUST go and visit her soon, because one day one of us won't be there any more.
