So sorry to hear of this, Jackie. I have lost two dear friends to cancer in the past two years, one was 28 and the other 42!

Your friend will live on in the memory of all those who loved her.

    Bless.

Jackie, just wanted to express my sympathies to you at this time.

I don't even know you or your friend but I am sitting here in tears with the message you have posted so goodness knows how you must be feeling.

Take care and think of all the good times with your friend.

(((((HUGS))))) I only wish there were words to comfort you. My Mum used to say "Looking back give thanks, looking forward take courage!"

Thanks JackieO! You are quite right we really do need to tell those we love just how important they are to us. I have a couple of friends who are really not well at all and intend to go give them a hug!

    Love Catzx

Thinking about you Jackie and your friend and her family. Take care of yourself.
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."

Keep your chin up, I know it's hard. Words don't always help but I have some poems at home from my dad's memorial service on Saturday - happy to type them up later and PM you with them.

I lost my dad to cancer on boxing day last year and the words help to release the tears that flow.

    Take care Jackie x
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

I know how you feel JackieO, I lost my Mum twice, once through dementia and then through death in January. She was honestly my best friend. The kind words given to me and PM's from some people on this site was very touching. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
