I would be making sure you have a signed contract for this rental as well.
    Be happy...;)
  • Morning guys,

OK - so took this image this morning.

I have blocked out address in case it gives too much away - let me know if I've missed blocking anything I should have.

As well as this signage (there are about 5-6 of these throughout the car park) there is also a small plaque at the end of each bay from the land owners indicating permit parking and with "Resident number XX" on them - mine has a number that matches my permit. Haven't photographed it as the logo would give location away.

Let me know if you need more info.

I can see the image fine in your previous post. If C-M is at work then perhaps her company blocks postimg links?

Indeedy I am, multi-tasking as ever! Can't click on links either though so can't view it. I will look later at home.

    Guess what?

Got a second one today. The driver even left a note in the window indicating where my permit was.

Maybe that's why they gave me another.

I called the person that the space it rented off again and they said they will likely be getting rid of C2C as they have even had staff members receive them. They've asked me to give them photocopies so they can get it sorted.

Shall I still proceed with letters though, just in case?

  • RockPaperScissors - have you got email/written evidence that the person you rent the space from has instructed to cancel?

Do give copies of the paperwork and hopefully this will get sorted without the need to appeal. As it is only at a windscreen notice and still within the 28 day period, the Ntk (don't say who here!) will be receiving that and then that person can either appeal or name the driver.

I have been reading online the Appeals system with IPC/ Code of Practice and am not happy with certain aspects - will be posting when I can on a discussion IPC ticket thread as I want the regulars to comment. (So I want to stall here as much as I can for the moment)

Edit: there are a number of good appeal points in relation to the signage though
  • Perfect thanks.

I have email proof (she copied me in) that she has insisted it is revoked.

Will keep you posted and keep my eyes peeled for IPC thread!
