I started painting a wall :) I didn't want it pale purple but that's what it looks like! No matter, it's a colour.

It's the start of making it your new home :)

I'm hoping some time soonish the place starts to function like a normal home, and I can concentrate on longer periods of cranberry juice...it will and so will you x

...I also have to say brilliant stuff Dizzy. Is that two and a half months now? I'm not sure what your feb target was.

Erm, not two and a half months AF, as I had a *cough* few days (lots more than planned, actually) in February when I had wine, but all AF so far this month :j

13/27 AFDs today. I went overboard on Sunday, and paid for it on Monday.

However, I still managed a good day, and a brilliantly MSE result at the end of the day. In April last year I used uSwitch and moved from Scottish Power to Coop Energy, or so I thought. SP sent me a bill and a demand. I rang both, and it appears that Coop didn't complete the switch admin. I ended up getting all my payments back, plus £80 as a goodwill payment (plus I had received cashback when I switched). SP are happy to wait until next week for me to settle their bill, to make sure there's no overlap whilst I wait for the repayment.

    Result Satchmo!

15/31 for me today and I'm proud to have held out. It's the 6th anniversary of my first husband's suicide, so a tough one for me.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I've had some official help, but being talked to like a 4 year old doesn't help and makes me angry. They seemed to lack the ability to make me feel in charge of my own life and what I do. I have a horrible journey coming up but they can't help with that. I think I don't fit their guidelines.

I'm sorry the help hasn't give you what you'd hoped for, Piggles. I think it's quite important that you tell the person concerned it sounded as though you were being treated like a four year old. As to the highlighted bit, sadly no therapist can snap their fingers and make someone feel in charge of their own life. That will come from you, yourself when you're ready. The best the therapist can do is help you find strategies that work for you.

    Result, Satchmo!

    Huge (((hugs))), Dizzy.

Off to the other side of the country for the funeral which is actually tomorrow. I can't stop thinking about how sad it all is.

And apparently my test results are back and the antibiotics I was on aren't going to do the trick, so I've been put on another type. Deep joy.
    Better is good enough.

Good to have you back SPS.

    Thank you Maman. :-)

I've made no further progress on being AF.

Mr SPS had a day off yesterday and we had a nice day together which resulted in making nice things to eat and catching up on a lot of recorded TV together. We had some champagne and wine slowly over several hours and I didn't get unruly and went to bed at a reasonable time. Lovely day and an important one as I'm obviously still trying to repair my relationship after my christmas eve antics. :(

Calling in early for tonight as I have no reason to drink and as such shouldn't. 11/31 AF

Thank you once again for the support and words of encouragement.

    SPS X
