Erm, not two and a half months AF, as I had a *cough* few days (lots more than planned, actually) in February when I had wine, but all AF so far this month :j
Thanks for the new housey making comments DizzyIt's my favourite thing, making a home.
Ah, I see. That's good going for this month! Yep I've had a blip around the move, and hoping because I managed a lot of AF days before I can do it again. ((hugs)) for the anniversary, that must have been hard.Honey_Bear wrote: »I'm sorry the help hasn't give you what you'd hoped for, Piggles. I think it's quite important that you tell the person concerned it sounded as though you were being treated like a four year old. As to the highlighted bit, sadly no therapist can snap their fingers and make someone feel in charge of their own life. That will come from you, yourself when you're ready. The best the therapist can do is help you find strategies that work for you.
Thanks Honey BearIf only they were therapists, but they're more practical stuff. I know exactly what it is I want to do, but they argue against me and are patronising so I don't get to do what it is I'm trying to achieve, hence the not in charge of my own life. They dismiss details that are very important to me and can't understand I might have different ways of looking at things. They're not around for very long anyway.
Very best wishes for the funeral. I do hope it goes well. Sad times.
Good result satchmo! I've just switched for the first time ever and it seemed reasonably painless but yes you're trusting other companies to get it right.
I've managed another AFD even though cheltenham's on and I used to drink my way through it.
6/10 AFD please shaggy0 -
March totals so far: AFD = 9, AD = 6, so 9/20 for me please, and no doubt two more tonight and tomorrow night.
Thanks to this challenge I feel I am conquering drinking Mon-Thur, it seems a lot easierto not drink when I know I have to report back to you guys!
My problem is Fridays when I feel like I have earned a drink at the end of the week. I need to change my attitude. Saturdays we normally go out and I would be quite happy to continue to drink then. And then Sundays I have a problem again....just one little drinky (which turns into 3 normally) before the weekend finishes....What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

14/27 AFDs today.
Just discussing plans for tomorrow with DH, which means I won't be home from 9.30am until around 10.30pm. That includes work, fetching mother from a St Patrick's lunch 17 miles away (where she'll enjoy the company of good friends for an afternoon), an early evening meeting followed by free Irish Stew and Irish music with DH to celebrate St Patrick's Day.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
16/31 for me please Shaggy x
Tomorrow is my SS's birthday (and parents' evening :rotfl: ) so we are making an epic journey to be there for school kick out, riot-act reading, then birthday dinner. After that, another four hours to get home as Small has an Easter egg hunt at school on Friday that he doesn't want to miss.
Before I get told off for taking him out of school for the day, I have the headteacher's permission0 -
