Well I haven't set a target this month but am declaring today an AF first one of the month despite some rather loud clanging bells - it's after 9.30 and there absolutely no point in having one now and so made myself a tea instead - saw OH raise an eyebrow when I went to the kettle but not the fridge:p bless him he drinks very rarely but never mentions my drinking or judges me ( well not out loud)CC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K
CC debt Nov 2018 £48.6K0 -
+1, please.
Maggiesoup / Stu, link to the autopsy documentary, please. I'm somewhat morbidly interested.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Thanks Honeybear!
Tonight I managed to go to Nandos and drink sparkling water with my chicken, instead of white wine which is unusual. Although I knew it was possible as I've done it before.
Three in a row for me Shaggy so 3/14 please.
My wishful thinking head thought I'd only committed to 10 but when I saw the list today I remembered I wanted to get two smileys this month and had said 14 so must keep on the rails some more.
Cathybird, please do post whenever you would find it helpful. I find that when I don't have AF days I feel embarrassed or awkward about posting and I know logically it ought to be ok for everyone to post and the more you post the more it helps me but somehow I seem to disappear at the first sign of the wagon disappearing into the distance. I guess when I'm not really getting anywhere with these af days I feel that I'm not a good example of the power of the thread accountability working. For me I will try not to disappear at the first sign of going off the rails.
Any lurkers out there it is definitely different when you're here part of it rather than just reading so come on in.
Last night's sleep was quite good, not as fab as the night before but still good. I awoke with a start/feeling of dread about 6 but at least it wasn't a 4am pacing the house night like it often is when I drink too much.
Ok, I seem to have wittered on enough for the last 6 months of me disappearing so will say good night and go off to bed now. Sweet dreams folks.0 -
3/15 please Shaggy.
Keep on posting it does you good. I dissapeared for a while but have returned and will post even when I have a beer or 2 ( after all it is the Givingup/Cutting down thread as my aim is to cut down my intake and this thread will help me to achieve this.0 -
Today will be af. 3/23 please shaggy X0

Morning :hello:
1 more AFD for yesterday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
