This month I've increased my AF by a further 2, as last month as soon as I hit my target of 10AF I quickly got back into my nightly drinking.:o
I did that last Thursday:o. Fortunately it was 'happy' drinking as I'd had a successful day. So I made myself do a penance of staying AF on Friday which was a planned drinking day.;)
Well done to everybody for last month, whether you did Dry January or not - there were a lot of smilies up on the list :T
What a lovely thought!!:D
No drinking planned for me today. Not sure about my DH. He had a couple last night so we'll see. I keep expecting him to tell me his plans. I never bring it up unless asked. I think that because I have some AF nights he feels the need to justify himself.

hello all
The 'maybe tomorrow' idea did indeed work a treat and I had none yesterday
I've been packing although I still don't know where I'm moving to because I'm waiting for something to come up to apply for. But in case it's quick I need to pack away stuff I rarely use so I'm ahead of myself.
I'm not as fit and healthy as I used to be though, and I keep bumping into doorways with a heavy box in my hands. And I've got to take all the carpet and underlay with me so that's got to come up as well before I put the boxes in the rooms  I've done one corner so far.
Also, what's different this time is that I don't need to stock up on 15 bottles of wine to take with me, and pack them all dispersed with a code on the box that indicates there's a bottle in itThis time the few I have will just go with food.

Evening All,
Another AF night last night as I remained resolute that I would not be drinking even though I had a social function with Mr SPS.
It was a charitable event and I won THE WINE!! The irony is not missed on me! Whilst I was drinking, I obviously never managed to win anything alcoholic!!
Tonight I intend to remain AF. Its already 19.30 hrs, we are about to have dinner so there is no point drinking tonight. Funnily enough I haven't paced so far tonight.
Nice to see lots of people managing their own victories. Today I read something I had written in my diary from September which was "Drinking robs me of tomorrows joy". Obviously a salute to the massive hangovers I historically endured several days per week. Not sure who was the original source of this quote.
