  • 2/21So far for me.

This week should be a good one in terms of not drinking - well until Friday anyway.

I have my first Job interview for about 15 years - the interview itself doesn't worry me but I have to give a presentation too and I didn't realise just had bad I would be at this until I started practising last night. Seriously considering trying toastmasters.

Cheers 5 Year Plan, will check that book out. Reading isn't my strongpoint, I start with such good intentions but it all falls by the wayside!

    Well, another day AF :j

I had a real wobble last night with a bottle of red winking at me from the pan cupboard, but it really spurred me on not to give in, and I didn't! ( i did however have a Dominos pizza, which whilst I know isn't very MS but it was 50% off with a code)

Did have a quarter of a Zopiclone to ensure I got off and woke up feeling a little bit dopey but less so than if i'd been on the vino.

    So thats day 4/27 AF!:T

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Spinning Sheep - Im like you, words just start to swim on the page if Im not getting it,:p so just to let you the book is not a heavy read it's for 'working' through ;) Questions are asked, :doh:which the reader is required to answer, to find out the 'life traps' or 'schemas'. :( which hold them back.

Then there are examples of case studies attached to each particular area of questioning. If nothing else it is fascinating

It worked for me - so you can imagine what a crap place I was in

If I was to sum up the biggest change it caused in me I would say - empowerment and taking responsibility for my mental and physical health by changing my negative thinking for positive thoughts:)
