Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Calling in early with 4/20 please Shaggy0

Hi Shaggy - you were correct on your list, it's 23 for target for Feb. I normally go for 25 which is where you may have been confused, but as it's a short month decided to cut it down a little!0

2/TF for me today please. OH not getting in til late tonight and I know not to open anything alone.0

Well. Last night was my first natural night sleep in I cannot remember how long! I woke up at my normal work time despite being my day off, totally refreshed. A feeling I haven't known in a while! My energy seems better, as does my mood. I can't help thinking, if this is me on day 2 AF, imagine what is to come. I feel really annoyed with myself that I have hidden the real me under a fog of red wine for years, so long in fact that I'd totally forgotten what the real me felt like, and i like it
and I've lost 1lb, OK its only a pound but its only day 2 as well. :j
CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0 -

:T Well done you! That is great.
I know what you mean. I have lost myself to a fog of wine and really need to 'find' the old/new me, if that makes sense.
I am full of remorse today. I found out that I have upset a friend due to a stupid comment, made whilst drinking. Whilst I meant what I said, there are nicer ways of saying things and that wasn't one of them. Now I feel dreadful and my friend is hurt. Another reminder that this destructive habit has got to stop
Living with the consequences of alcohol is horrible. Why can't I just stop and be done with it?
Needless to say, AF tonight for sure. 2/18 please Shaggy0
