Spinning Sheep and Fruball - if you have time to work through this book I would thoroughly recommend its called 'Re-inventing your life'. I was advised to use this book in place of CBT whilst attending a mental health counsellor - this the last step before being referred to a psych consultant - thankfully it worked for me
I needed to find out who I was and what I was about
I had a melt down
I also am a firm believer of the amygdala (after learning about it on this thread) and the re-programming your brain(there is a lot of information on this on the internet)
Using both of these tools and of course this wonderful, amazing, incredible thread - im learning more about myself and my triggers
I try not to dwell on the fuzzy or lost memories that over-indulgence has caused - in fact I have started to note down as a memory enters my head so I can expand on it later :j
Im definitely better sober than even a wee bit tipsy BUT that's a step too far for me at the moment - as many AFs nights as I can push for is my goal at the moment.
Oh and Shaggy BTW - I was so, so, so chuffed at the Smiley I got for my 11/31 AF days in January...I have definitely joined the 'saddo' club - yeeeehooooo!!!!!!!!!!

So good day at work and actually managed to finish a bit earlier too!
OH isn't back yet and cleaner has been in so house all nice and clean and smelling fresh! Sitting quietly in a tranquil gleaming living room with chilled wine and champagne sitting ominously in the fridge. God it makes me want to have a drink!!! Wish it was 8pm!!
Now I should go and cook dinner for OH getting in in an hour but that makes me justify in my head having a glass of wine!
Calling early again - 3/22 AF!
Good Luck anyone struggling!
Off for a walk.............

Declaring 4/25. Thank you, everybody. Yes, I am very determined to get to my target this month. So much so, I'm more interested in reaching my 25 days than in having a drink.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

3/24 AFDs for yesterday. Internet was down last night, so couldn't read or post on here, which I missed more than a glass of wine! What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
