Bloody awful day at work so I'm glad my head was clear for it!

Welcome Pauline & Spinning Sheep! I guarantee with regular check ins to this group your relationship with alcohol will greatly improve! It has really worked for me - and there are lots of regular "faces" on here that it appears to worked for too!

Well done Alex, off to a flying start :T
  • Didn't have a drink on Friday - so January was 21/20 in the end for me.

Made up for it over the weekend though - but back to not drinking last night so currently 1/21 for February

So far Ive tried becks blue (like), cobra zero (not as much as becks blue but its ok), also Ive tried the bavaria 0.0 percent wheat beer, I dont love it but at 2 quid for 6 cans its drinkable. The erdinger frei is very nice and apparently sainsburys do a low alcohol czech lager.

My favourite is actually the Bavaria 0.0% normal one (not the wheat beer), which is fortunate because as you say, it's one of the cheapest. I don't care for becks blue too much, but that may be just because the bottle's too small.

    Hear!! Hear!!

Weeelllll!!! I did it...first AF night for February :j

Shaggy please put me down for 1/20

It was a struggle, will I - wont I??!! I forced myself that the come down I was experiencing would only be delayed if I took a 'lovely relaxing' glass of red...I tried to recall how good it felt to wake up AF with a clear head and being able to concentrate in work :)

    Loving life today folks :)

Big group hug to all :grouphug:

    Morning all,

Welcome to pauline & spinning sheep - as other have already said, there is lots of support on here whether you are just cutting down or want to give up completely. I am one of the 'cutters down' and checking in with the lovely people on this thread really helps me :D.

Alex - you sound so determined - I sense such a difference in your outlook from last month - well done :T

5-year - congratulations on resisting temptation last night :j

An early call for me today as I know I won't be drinking tonight so that will be 2/12 for me please Shaggy.

Have a great day everyone :)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
