Ditto what she says ^^^^^^ it's next on my list...I ate a *cough* large bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk today. I just couldn't stop :embarasseI agree with some of MK's principles but couldn't go the whole hog. I did cupboard/drawer/room at time. The biggest progress for me is finding homes for things of the same category in one place rather than scattered through the house.
Me too - she's a bit batty, if you ask me, but the folding idea does make it easier to find items, although my method of folding socks is better (IMHO, obvs...)
Having wine tonight and friends staying over from tomorrow to Wednesday, so the next few days will be interesting. I did tell my friend I was trying to do Sober October and she text back something very rude :rotfl:0 -
15/13 for last night. That's probably it for October too.0

Hurray! I made my target of 14/14 AFDs.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

23 for tonight. We're having an alcohol free Halloween party tomorrow evening, mainly for the children but adults will be there. However, we've bought a nice bottle of wine to share after, so tomorrow won't be AF.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
26/25 AFDs for yesterday0

31/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0

Wow! You're really getting into this piggles. Great idea to have the soft drinks. I do hope your sleeping gets better but try to separate it from the drinking. Controlling drinking is a positive step regardless. I don't know about you but although I get off to sleep faster on drinking days I still wake up when the effect of the 'drug' has worn off.
I'm exactly like you in that I hope for a higher score than mu published target. So mine's a 'meet it or beat it' target. This month I've struggled to meet it but fortunately that's mainly because of my holiday not because I've been losing control.
I am indeed making a big effortjust less that 2 units thursday and 0 again last night. I've found other things to do lately which means I forget to bother with getting the wine out and then it's late enough to make it a conscious decision.
My poor sleep last night was more to do with worrying about a few things that are making me cross so it was difficult to sleep and I kept waking up through the night. I just need to sort it my end so I can get the idea that I must sort it out of my mind then it's up to the other party.I've made the kitty moon the 14 day smileyLet me know if you want your target to be ALD or AFD or a mix of both.
Thank you shaggy! woo hoo!I'll have the 15/30 as an AFD target for november please
The other days are likely to be ALDs now.

Distraction is an excellent technique. I find that because I go out on a Monday evening to a dance class, it's easy not to even think about drinking. That generally gets me off to a good start to the week.
Feeling a bit under the weather today after too much last night. Since my holiday I've gone back to drinking red with DH as enjoyed sharing a bottle with him when we were away. Harder to keep track when I don't have my own bottle IYSWIM. I'm sure I had more than my fair share yesterday. Need to watch that.0 -
Didn't quite manage 31/31 only 30/31, due to an interview I was offered yesterday, for today, and a mystery shop I had planned, afterwards, at a particular establishment, so I had to order the real ale anyway, but after the interview I felt I deserved to drink it.
So no target reached, but considering other months, I did particularly well, I think
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE0
