    Morning :hello:

2 more ALDs for Wednesday and Thursday.

Just thought I'd share that I'm at my lowest weight in about 7 years :-). Already thinking about how not to put on weight this December!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

This thread is so enjoyable for me. As well as the support I often learn something new that has nothing to do with alcohol! All this talk of Marie Kondo made me look her up as I'd never heard of her before. I'm a permanent declutterer - however, I like to think I have healthy amounts of clutter in my life. Do you watch "Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners" ? I like to think I'm in between the OCD cleaners and the hoaders - so normal.

Anyways, back to Marie Kondo - I love this quote from her wiki page
She says she experienced a breakthrough in organizing one day, "I was obsessed with what I could throw away. One day, I had a kind of nervous breakdown and fainted. I was unconscious for two hours. When I came to, I heard a mysterious voice, like some god of tidying telling me to look at my things more closely. And I realized my mistake: I was only looking for things to throw out. What I should be doing is finding the things I want to keep. Identifying the things that make you happy: that is the work of tidying.
This is so true (though the fainting's a bit much lol!). The things that make me happy are old photos and my memory boxes - full of cards and letters from people I love. I've always found it much easier to "tidy up" if I have memory boxes to hand. Then the important stuff can go in the boxes. The clutter then becomes something beautiful to treasure - like a memory box of cards from your OH, parents or kids. Something really special.

Thanks Guys. I will definitely try and read her book when I have a minute.

shaggy, please can you put my 15/30 for november under AF not AL? :) That's what I'm aiming for, every other day without any.

I want the kitty on the moon still, wonder if I can do 21 days AF in november. Tall order!

I've made the kitty moon the 14 day smiley :D Let me know if you want your target to be ALD or AFD or a mix of both.

I know that if I put all of my clothes in one heap, a la Marie Kondo, I'd be able to shed at least a third. Just can't quite bring myself to do it, but I did do it with my shoes. The local Chazza shop was most grateful.

30/31 please, Shaggy, and I'm absolutely delighted that the cat in the moon is back for November as I know some others will be! Thank you for that.

:T on being low weight as well as low alcohol Shaggy. My plan is to enjoy what December brings but to be as angelic as possible on days when there aren't any events.

I couldn't cope with pulling everything out at once. I agree with some of MK's principles but couldn't go the whole hog. I did cupboard/drawer/room at time. The biggest progress for me is finding homes for things of the same category in one place rather than scattered through the house.

    Have a good weekend all.:)
