Recently, I've felt myself beginning to slip into bad habits, OK the hangovers made it obvious. Today has been the first AF day in a while.

I'm not planning to make a target as I forget to update and then one week later forget how many days and have let everyone down but I'd like to still join in with this thread, please.

Thursday was planned to be alcohol free but a very dear friend turned up with a bottle of sparkly to celebrate her birthday and I felt that I couldn't say no. I was going to pour mine and leave it but that didn't happen! She went home and then with dinner the bottle of Shiraz that had been talking to me in the kitchen also got drunk, well half of it by me shared with my OH! Fell asleep on the settee and woke up with the munchies so raided the fridge. Woke up in the morning feeling awful!! This is my problem if I'm not AF I just don't know when to stop and it is really worrying me!

Yesterday AF so still at 9/29

    Hi Alex! Welcome home.

Gonzo, when I'm at a bar that only has one AF beer I'll have that. None of them are undrinkable except Fo$ter'$ Radler. It was so disgusting I tried a second one, thinking the first must have been off, but - No. Just No. Interesting that Bavarian even tastes good to a beer drinker. One of the people who stays here occasionally (British, but who now lives in America) has one beer a night and was worried that she might be enjoying it and looking forward to it a little bit too much, so she tried one of my BBs and really, really liked it. So she's gone back there on a mission to find out what's available over there in the AF line. The more people drink them, the more the drinks companies will be willing to develop the AF lines, so I'm all in favour of people trying different ones.

    12/30 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

My first AFD today, if I can do it again Sunday and Monday, that'll be my first sub 21 (18.8) units week for a long time, so that's the plan.

Confession time... I had beer yesterday.. BUT! Only 4 and I just wanted one, I have feeling chappy and a bit down (for no reason whatsoever) and hubs came home so we went to the cinema to see Legend (great movie, even better tickets were free) and then we went to a bar and bought some beers for home.

I still deem yesterday successful as I stopped at 4 even when hubs had one more before bed, normally I have no self control and would have had about 8 so although I drank I controlled it.
