I'm pleased with that as if someone said to me at the start I could cut my drinking from every day to 50% I'd be delighted.
That's so true for me too. I'm still learning moderation when I do drink but my AFDs are increasing and my ALDs mean far fewer monster hangovers for days after. Going to weigh myself later to see if it's having any impact - wish me luck :rotfl:
9/21 today for me - taxi duty later...0 -

Morning :hello:
2 more ALDs.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
OK, so after taxi duty I had one bottle of Bulmers blood orange cider and this morning I have headache
Definitely AF today...0 -

So my 3/21 AFD's should really be 7/21 ALD's. It is very early days but I feel confident about this, I'm not really struggling at all, but I've realised that the fight/struggle is going to be a neverending war, rather than a short battle.
Done - changed your target.
I see alcohol, like my diet, exercise and my BP, as something I monitor constantly and this thread helps me do that. I've been posting on here 6 years in October and I know a few other posters were here before me.What do we do when we fall? That'd be me then!:D Like you, shaggy, I'm still around because it helps me stay on track. Not that I'd necessarily go back to square one without it but it's a routine I've got into just like keeping my weight in check, writing healthy meal plans and checking my bank statements. And if I can help anyone who's starting out with advice from my experience then all the better. Isn't that what all the best forums do:).OK, so after taxi duty I had one bottle of Bulmers blood orange cider and this morning I have headache
Definitely AF today...
Sometimes we need the hungover feeling as a reminder where we've come from just like a tight pair of jeans tells me when I've been having too many treats. And one bottle is still an ALD.:)
AF for me today, maybe the last for this week. Another family birthday tomorrow but not sure what we're doing yet.
8 AFDs please Shaggy.0
