25/31 for me today please.
Calling early as we're off out tonight and I volunteered to drive. Not long ago it was a case of getting to a venue and downing a couple before we could even have the conversation as to who was driving home. Selfish much?:o

Checking in with AFD .....#20
Off out tonight to a party at OHs friends house- I was originally tempted to drink but seen as we have no sitter for DD we are taking her with us so I think it'd be sensible to stay sober tonight so someone can supervise her sensibly! She's only 6 after all! So I will be taking a few bottles of Becks blue with me! Is that cheating??? And I will be driving. The next test for me will be Thursday night when I'm out with colleagues from work who are already discussing what wine we will order and who will get taxis home with who - I have yet to tell them I'm driving if the will power lasts that long!!
Keep up the good work everyone - one step at a time!GC- June £0/£150

Quick question - does anyone else feel tired all the time since giving up/cutting down? I feel absolutely drained as soon as I sit down after my tea from about 6.30 I battle to keep my eyes open until I go to bed at about 9/10?GC- June £0/£150

Posting early with tonights AFD so that is now 21 for January please shaggy.
For those 'sober' ones, how long before you really started to feel the benefits of being AF? Or maybe you didn't notice a huge difference.
Since I started being AF I've gad one illness after another and feel really weak and drained!
Enjoy the evening!Trying to keep in budget.

Is it because your fitting more into your day? I was feeling knackered all the time when drinking. Now I find Im waking feeling refreshed fitting loads more into my day BUT eating a load of rubbish & having a slump come the evening.
I wish I could find something to drink all night in the pub the same as I did with alcohol.
25/31 please Shaggy0 -
