Declaring early 24/31 tonight. Off out for a colleague's leaving do. Normally DH would drive so I could have a drink or 2 but not this month. I don't drink at all if I'm driving so feel confident to declare this early tonight.0

In early for 20/25 AF days tonight as am driving.
Just catching up on the busy thread again as been away for 4 days on a Spa break/retreat which was lovely.
With all the talk of dryathlon and what to do in Feb, I have been thinking myself about my next steps with alcohol. I didn't miss it when I went AF in Oct and Nov (not after the first couple of shaky weeks) and now when I drink, I don't really enjoy it that much. However, becoming officially teetotal brings with it a certain amount of pressure, so may just hold fire a bit on the decision.
Still struggling with overeating though and that's a whole different beast for me!
365 - really glad about your news!
Alex - just keep going, that's the hardest part when something is so difficult, you haven't given up, I imagine you being like a stubborn mule pulling against a rope!
Guiness cat - welcome and well done on your success so far.
Good luck for the weekend for all those who are struggling.0 -

1 more for me please Shaggy - I think that takes me to 12/18. Going to have to be really good for the rest of the month if I am to meet my target... after today there are just 7 days left and 6 need to be AF :eek:0

20/31 AFDs tonight0

24/31 AFDs for me now. Celebrated getting a good offer on our house by having a cup of tea - amazing. The prospective buyers are in rented accommodation and have cash waiting, so want to move quickly. Eek, that means we need to find somewhere to rent sharpish. Anyone know a lovely rental in Ainsdale/Southport/Formby area for a few months?
Need to get packing boxes and start packing away what isn't needed for the next few months. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
4/14 for today.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
Had a drink last night.
Decided as I'd had a good day, OH had somehow finished a bit earlier and I knew I wouldn't tonight or this weekend so we had some fizz and wine. Didn't get crazy and finish those drinks then move onto spirits afterwards (as I previously was prone to do).
So for tonight back on track 11/19 AF.
