Quick question - does anyone else feel tired all the time since giving up/cutting down? I feel absolutely drained as soon as I sit down after my tea from about 6.30 I battle to keep my eyes open until I go to bed at about 9/10?
I felt very tired in the first couple of weeks of being AF. I think it was 2 things- Alcohol has lots of sugar in, and I was missing that sugar
- I was able to listen to my body, and not have alcohol drown out all the messages it was giving me. And it told me I was knackered!

Actually, I'm feeling less tired during the day now as I'm sleeping a lot better. The first few days were tough as I found it hard to get to sleep as my body was so used to having a nightcap but I now find myself getting to sleep more quickly and waking up less during the night.0 -

Very brief history - I used to drink every night, but started cutting down 3 years ago when DD1 was born. Has been a little hit and miss, but appears to have improved a little over the last few months as SWMBO now has evening job.
