Declaring 6 tonight. I must admit after falling off the wagon on Sunday I nearly didn't post. So glad I did. No judgements and its made me more determined.

Hi Muser, I agree, we're really lucky that posting here comes with positive rreponses rather than judgement. I kind of see here as an honest space unlike family and friends. And I think it was Graeme on here recently talking about the chicken and the egg about people posting more or less and the link with drinking more or less. These days I tend not to post if I haven't good news to share as I don't want to bring negativity on here so when I disappear that's usually a bad sign.

:j Pippi, welcome back and good luck this month! It sounds like you are in a very different life now, I was surprised you mentioned the younglings as with all your studies and how you post I didn't think you were old enough!

I had great intentions last week that went out of the window and I have not achieved my monthly goal for the last 3 months in a row
so I want to turn things around. I'm going to be AF again tonight.

There's nothing wrong with enjoying being AF!! Aside from the physical and financial benefits I love the feeling of achievement and being in control.:)

Keep it up Chardonnay, you'll enjoy that uncharted territory, a whole new world.

Thanks Maman, it's an adventure really! :)

    7/31 please Shaggy!

    Hello all

7/30 for me hope you're all fine and rested, if you're not hop on in and have a coffee. WBF - you're right about the honesty and friendship here.

As to not being old enough for kids, you angel, when I split from my ex-hub I chose studying rather than a job so I could be about for the wee ones. But as with everything I took that way further than most sane folks. They're both at uni now, and I am indeed very old......scary! I'm stupidly young in my head :)

Have a great day everyone. My strategy today is to keep busy.
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:
  • Morning, 7/31 for me so far. Keeping busy so far this month not thinking about the booze. There are 5 cans of lager that have been sitting in my fridge since 22/9 and I haven't though about opening one at all. Not so long ago they wouldn't have lasted 3 days!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
