At least 10 boxes of books emptied, shelves full, and still a pile more to go. Then I have another pile of boxes containing CDs to deal with. I reckon that was just as much exercise as a 6k run.

10 boxes of books - wow! Double bonus points - the boxes are gone *fling* and the shelves no doubt look fab. I've never understood why anyone needs to join a gym - housework, particularly vacuumming the stairs kna**ers me completely and it's free.

    6/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Well I made it through the weekend no problem. so 5/31 for me please.

I'm enjoying it, Sunday was very different and we got loads done over the weekend - keeping busy is the key for me, and early nights - am enjoying a lot of sleep!

Well done AuntyCat, have to say I'm enjoying it too! It's strange isn't it?!

I actually had my last drink on 28th September so am on Day 10 now. From tomorrow I will be in unknown territory in that I'm sure that's the longest I'll have gone without any alcohol since I started drinking, as a teenager (as far as I can remember). Isn't that ridiculous?!

    6/31 now please Shaggy :)

There's nothing wrong with enjoying being AF!! Aside from the physical and financial benefits I love the feeling of achievement and being in control.:)

Keep it up Chardonnay, you'll enjoy that uncharted territory, a whole new world.

    No drinking planned here today.

    3 AFDS please Shaggy.
  • Waves to all, hello and how are you all. I read a most days but don't post, right now I feel like I really need to join in if that's OK.

For the person a few days ago who mentioned Belle, thank you. It was the slap in the face with a wet kipper I needed.

I'm going to try and keep up again, lost focus big style when the kids left home and I moved to a new place/stopped working. Slowly getting back to reality.

I'm on Day 6 Shaggy my love can I join in for October please, and put me down for 28 days please. I promise I'll try harder to keep up this time.

Waves to all and hey up Maman, ^^ AF tonight too so I'll keep a few of you company.

    Aw thanks Maman.

Huge adjustments to no younglings in the house, but new area, new life. I must focus on the positives instead of drowning myself in self pity, we've a new house, so that's exciting.

Like those gorgeous wellies, how fab thank you! Goodluck too.

    Hope you're still dancing.

Declaring 6 tonight. I must admit after falling off the wagon on Sunday I nearly didn't post. So glad I did. No judgements and its made me more determined.

Hubby at gym he's feeling the benefits of af evenings too. I'm snuggled on the couch with a hot choc. Tv catch up planned.
