Hi
I will join if that's ok- think a public decleration of intent can do no harm and may just encourage me to committ to a healthier routine a bit more.
I doubt I have had a night wothout alcohol, before last night, in the past 6-8 weeks. Every Sunday night I pledge to have a better routine and every Monday lunchtime I start idenifying the excuses!
Aiming for 12 alcohol free days for August and we will see how we go from there. Last night and tonight makes it:

3/20 AFDs today, and a very productive day :-)What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Well, Alex, your persistence with the AF days as one thing, but also look at the figures in your signature - that's quite an impressive debt reduction. Yes, I know you will shush it away by saying that you had stuff of value you could sell, or that your wife has a good salary and you parents help you out, but at some point you do have to give yourself some credit for doing something right!
I hope thing are picking up and you are starting to move on from the bad place you are now.
Gien: My first thought is to tell you that I did not do "something right" in getting myself into debt and that what I have done is far from remarkable. However, I do thank you for the support.
Had a really bad day today but this evening has not been a bad one.

4/20 AFDs and a frustrating day where I couldn't get equipment to do what it is supposed to do, grr (printers, USBs, headphones). The common denominator for the equipment is my laptop, so perhaps the ports aren't working. On the other hand, neither was I able to download a sharepoint file to get contact details, so perhaps it's not my laptop? I was trying to rehearse a presentation, so now I'm worrying whilst waiting for technical support to contact me.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
