Well, Alex, your persistence with the AF days as one thing, but also look at the figures in your signature - that's quite an impressive debt reduction. Yes, I know you will shush it away by saying that you had stuff of value you could sell, or that your wife has a good salary and you parents help you out, but at some point you do have to give yourself some credit for doing something right!
I hope thing are picking up and you are starting to move on from the bad place you are now.Trying to keep in budget.

4/31 done and dusted.
We were on Plymouth Hoe last night between 10.00 and 11.00pm for the WW1 commemoration. As we were leaving two of the people OH has worked with in the past stopped for a chat. It crossed my mind that for the last few years I probably would have been pretty tipsy or drunk by that time of day even at such an event, albeit never planned or consciously intentional.Better is good enough.0 -
Declaring early on 2/12 please shaggy0

Afternoon :hello:
1 more AFD to add for yesterday making 3 for August.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

3/20 for tonight please. I know I don't post much about me and my life but just want to say thanks to everyone here for helping me drastically cut down my alcohol consumption this year. I found this thread in January when I signed up to Dry January and have found it really helpful.
Thank you :T0
