Let myself down massively yesterday :(

Was so determined to have a full week off, but failed.

I didn't go OTT and actually poured half a glass of fruit cider away as I'd had enough and went to bed, but I'm still absolutely fed up with myself.

    Still on 2/31

Nothing until Friday now, where after a 7 hour round trip on public transport with the wonderful 9 year old Top Boy, I reckon I will have earned a couple of glasses of wine once I've dropped him at his dad's.

    Hi All

I don't have any AF's to report for August yet, tonight will be my first but I won't call it in early just in case. I was at the closing ceremony yesterday for the Commonwealth Games & had a few glasses of wine with my late lunch/early dinner then when we were at the venue it was diet irn bru then a cup of peppermint tea at midnight to top it off .

I am determined to do target this month as I am not shifting the weight either & put 3lb on last week

Will check in later on tonight to hopefully report my 1st AF for August.

Calling in early with 2/20 AFDs as I'm refusing to buy any wine mid-week, and as I won't drink on a Friday as a rule due to parkrun on a Saturday, that should help me reach target this month! And I got a PB (personal best) time at parkrun with 35:18, leaving me determined to shave off 19 seconds next time.

I resolved to go for a run in the evening twice a week, for my health, sanity and waistline :-)
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Honey Bear: I would certainly not go so far as to say I am "amazing". :o

Your persistence in the early days of this thread and the fact that you've come back for support is what will get you where you want to be. I'm absolutely convinced that real success is hard-earned, so don't give up on giving up, whatever your goal.
    Better is good enough.

    3/20, I don't know why I've put 31 in my other post...

None in the house, Top Boy in bed and I'm going to enjoy an options hot chocolate then head up myself.

Thank you, I did originally think you were talking about my debt free thread not this one. Anyhow, it doesn't matter the support is very much appreciated. :)
