Good morning campers
Shaggy please mark me down for 6/14
I think I have turned a massive cornerI always said if I was able to get a wine tasting substitute I would be a happy girlie - I think it's happened.
Im still a firm believer in the power of the amygdala and how recognising the reasons for my drinking are to satisfy emotions. The placebo of 'non-alcoholic wine' that actually tastes like wine really works for me and satisifies my emotional need to drink. (Hmmm...all this makes sense to me :rotfl:and a massive thankyou to the person on this post that mentioned it in the first place and made me question why and when I was drinking)
I always had a great amount of energy now I have even more, thankfully I really enjoy exercise so am just loving running, walking and gym classes without that horrible hangover, and am able to expell the excess.

I got a little pay rise yeesterday so I celebrated with a bottle of wine.
I am back on here to show penance. I intend to remain as AF as possible for the rest of the month.
Nellis, that is nothing to be embarrassed about - having a little celebration when something nice happens it is the sort of thing 'normal' people do - it is only a problem if you cannot control the drinking - sorry if that sounds a bit preachy - it isn't meant that way
5-year - through your recommendation I am now searching for the 'Sorelle' - no luck finding it as yet though - we live in a fairly rural area and have no decent size supermarkets near us so I will have to look out for it next time I go to the larger stores.
I managed another AFD yesterday so that makes 6/12 for me please shaggy.0 -
Sukeyboo - I get mine in Tesco's - I havent seen it anywhere else, you can order it for delivery on line.
I have tried ASDAs 0% stuff but defo not my 'cuppa tea' :rotfl:Im gonna try Sainsbury's 0% tonight. Its very difficult to get a red to try so I hoping that Sainsbury's stocks some. I'll give you an update in the morning after my tasting session :jThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
1 more AFD for me please Shaggy
Look https://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=272839801 for Sorelle wine 2 for £5 on offer at Mr T at the moment!
I haven't tried it but at that price, I will0 -
14/20 AFDs for me, and another smiley.
I spent a frustrating day buying new net curtains for my mum only to find when I put them up (after cleaning the windows) that they weren't wide enough. I rang the shop and complained, so I'll be taking them back tomorrow. It meant I had to take down the new nets and rehang the old ones. It was hot work. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
16/25 for tonight please. Find SNC pretty easy but it's the weekends I struggle with.0

I almost succumbed tonight, even got as far as putting a bottle in the fridge to chill. But it's still there unopened.;)
8 AFDs please Shaggy.0 -
Satchmo, hows your mum today? xx
Well done Maman for not opening it!
Got a little drunk tuesday due to some rubbish news, came home and forgot how i got home , i just woke up in bed the next morning, Thats awful isnt it? So another bad day for me, thankfully no hangover as i hadn't drunk that much, just on an empty stomach. Why the need to to to drink to cope with emotions, stops you feeling and dealing with them for a while i guess. Anyway, af yesterday and woke up happier. Must hod that thought .
Depression=booze=waking up more depressed
Depression+no booze=depressed by dealing with things and more postive.
So 8/21 please shaggy
Loads of love and hugs to those who need them xxCompers challenge 27/70
